These cars didn't come with cassette radios originally. The 10th Anniversary has a 1/2 year only, "red light" Stereo Eight 2700 Series Delco 8 track. It is unique to this model and they are running around $750 and up today to try to find a good original.
this is beautiful!! but what would an all original, unrestored, near mint 79 10th anniversary trans am be worth? i know someone who has one and is looking to sell it
The original shifter ball isn't a white ball either. It's a black knob with the shift pattern and the Pontiac arrowhead logo. They reproduce them now.
I bought one in 1979 brand new $10,688 I kept it for a year sold it for ten thousand six hundred bad move I should have kept it
It's missing the period correct AM/FM stereo 8-track player.
Wow this is a nice one, i had 4 t/a from 79 to 81 and i would love to have one like this one day, great review like alwayse.

Best Car Ever Built 👍
I found out what it is like to put my head through the windshield of my 1979 Trans Am. It wasn’t pleasant.

Today in 2021 it would be between 35,000 to 59,000 depending on mileage and what engine and if it's in great condition.
Love the fuel injection, what system is that?
NOT fuel injection. It has a 4 barrel carb.
I can see in the video @4:47 that it has an MSD throttle body fuel injection unit, not a 4 barrel carb.
Very Nice Car !!!! I'd offer $19,900 but i'm sure you want $29,900 so I guess i will wait until your ready to deal.
It sold for $35k, 5 years ago!🤷♀️🤷♀️
please take my money....I had one when i was 18... I will spend my 55 th. in one of yours . See you soon
Not a big GM guy but that is nice.
bought one two years ago with 2000 miles auto paid 45 000
Did you get that vehicle appraised before you purchased it?
Love to h 🙈 it
But i can't afford it
All sold..then I saw the stick...too bad.
@Squirmin Herman the one eyed German 220hp for the '79 400, not 200hp. The 400 W72 was 200hp in 1977. It was 220 in 1978-1979.
@Squirmin Herman the one eyed German I know that. However, as I stated, the '79 400 was 220hp, not 200hp.
I hate bad and wrong info on these cars.
Pinstripes are all wrong. Modified, makes this car incorrect. This car ain't worth shit.
