  • Request from Spain for this version. This part is about Level 7. The reason the title mentions Tchaikovsky twice is because there are a few piano solo transcriptions by others, notably Pletnev, whose more difficult version had been requested. This is Tchaikovsky's own transcription of the ballet.

Hi Jane, could you please share the link of this arrangement here? I tried to find it in IMSLP but i could not :(

It would be great if you could explore searching on your own. If everyone asked me for links, it would be challenging to manage. Visit IMSLP and navigate to the “Arrangements and Transcriptions” tab for what you’re looking for. The edition I used is shown in an intro panel. Good luck!

    Thanks Jane!

Add your request to this? Don’t understand what you mean. Since you’re practicing the Pletnev, how about recording your practice? Paste the correct sections together and you’ll have a slow tutorial. Many would welcome it.

Thanks for the lesson, Jane! But tell me please. I just started learning to play the piano. Why in the notes the very first chord is "mi sol si", but you play "sol si re"?

The left hand is following the bass clef. Study my easy sight-reading lessons, with days, you'll be able to connect any note on the staff to its exact key on the piano. Have fun learning!

Use my request video. Also make sure the composer will allow me to make a tutorial from his work. Otherwise it will give me copyright trouble.
