Hi Richard, I'm yet to watch this but I recently watched a video about statins on the nutrition made simple channel which explained that the figure going around of statins only increasing life expectancy by days is incorrect as the trials are only 5 years long and to see the real outcome, especially with heart disease, a participant needs to be followed over a longer period. When adjusted for a longer period of time, their effectiveness is likely extra years of life. Have you seen this video? I'm new to your channel, but I really like the detail you go into and your explanations, coach Steven too. Personally, I think someone should make lifestyle changes rather than taking a pill that has a number of side effects. It would be great if you could see the video to check if Gil from nutrition made simple is correct in his analysis of the studies. It seemed very convincing to me Thank you
Extrapolation of data can be a bad habit to get into as most biological patterns are not linear when it comes to pharmacology. The data for their product was from their own research, so I would take it with a grain of Himalayan pink salt. It's good that you are diversifying your information sources and encouraging others to do the same.
@@twistedstrength.Thanks for your reply. Yes, I always take these research studies with a grain of salt, but the video on nutrition made simple was not just following what the outcome of the studies said, he broke that down and consulted studies on the studies. I usually find that his videos don't really say very much that's concrete but this one was different and he seemed to have a point and it's the first time I've thought that about his content
Do we know how much vitamin A the body requires, is it stored in an organ, & for how long before it's depleted, supplements aside. I'm assuming this vitamin shows up in blood tests. Thank you
Great content, as always! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
Great podcast

Almost No One needs ti supplement with Vitamin A
@@charlenepomicter5345 Agree, but people buy it though.
Statins give me terrible acid reflux! I would rather have a heart attack than esophageal cancer!
