I love hearing Dougo rant. He's actually very measured and responsible with his comments. I imagine he says exactly what he means off camera. You never have to wonder how he feels.
Yep, it is very rare to find good help, although I think Eric grew up on a farm, so he has been around it all his life, so that makes a huge difference. But Eric is a dang hard worker, there is no doubt about that. Heck up until a couple weeks ago I thought him and Chet were brothers, lol. Plus Eric treats things like its his farm too, rather than just acting like a employee, which is also rare to find someone who is both a hard worker and does things like its his farm, instead of just doing what asks of him and thats it.
Hello Larson Farms Family. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again and again, Chet and Eric are two of the finest young men in America! Proud of you guys and keeping you in our prayers. Hang in there. God Bless.
We in Texas deal with endless droughts and not getting rain we need it and endless days of 120 degrees and humidity of the highest ever. We pray for good days and great crops yall hang in there.
Dirt ,grain and steel found the perfect way to clean the mud out of the tracks. A diesel powered Ingersoll air compressor. 135 pounds of air blows the mud right out. His latest video about half way through shows him cleaning out tracks combine.
I lived in Minnesota. Got tired of shoveling snow. I now live in Arizona where the high temperature today was 81 and low 53. Blew my mind when Dougo mentioned in 2 states in one breath.
from a born and raised Canadian dairy and cash crop farmer now operating dozers i cant explain enough how cool these videos are and how grateful i am to be able to come home from a day in the machine or servicing and finally see something positive, worthwhile, and in all funny. Awesome stuff Thanks a million to you and your family!
A local spray company had an 8rt that they put saddle tanks and a 3pt 120 foot sprayer on and they kept burning through bogey wheels. They ended up finding a poly bogey wheel that Deere has that dissipates the heat better. I’m not sure if that’s what you guys already have but it’d be something to look into
@@icebabysnocain just rode 1,400 miles from San Diego to La Paz MX…basically the entire length of the Baja Peninsula. Hardly “Dangerous”. Thanks for another great video. It was most interesting. Sorry about all the mud. Really makes a mess for you cleaning up equipment. Wow. Lots of hard work I am sure. If you are losing a lot of bogge wheels that can really be expensive. I would think John Deere has some type of update for that. Just doesn’t seem right. Big struggle bus item I think. The other options aren't the best......... :-) Another Kudos to our farmers and what they put up with to make a living to keep us all fed and in the things we need to sustain. Take good care guys!
I am glad you Guys like tracks but one wash job like that and they would be down the road! I have worked on farm equipment all my life and I can’t believe how unreal expensive tracks are to buy and maintain like the boogie wheels on your 9RX! If I farmed I would run LSW tires, they are amazing! Just my 2 cents worth. Keep the videos coming as I really enjoy watching your videos!!
The wet mud clumps basically turn into dirt rocks when they freeze. Wintertime in the morning and you want to get to work out in the fields & no time to clean, the frozen clumps will tear the hell out of everything. Amazing there is anything left!
@@armedfarm3429 I have heard that before from other farmers. It wouldn’t matter as much if a person farmed in a warm climate were it never freezes. But then again the whole tracks are super heavy as they are you wouldn’t want to carry all that extra weight from the mud. I hear trying to buy a new track is very hard and if you find one the price it outrages!
Need to install a pull through wash pit....all of the rock mines in my area use them and they are super nice keeping tires and tracks clean coming out of the pit.
@@realredditstories420 No I am referring to a active wash pit. Its full of water and has jets along a 40 ft area to constantly clean the track/tire area. The operator simply drives through without stopping.

Dougo the fire truck is a great idea I have a couple of friends that use them to wash there combines off. You can find them pretty cheap also. Not sure why, but Case sure doesn’t seem to... the skinny belts might have something to do with it too! Love your content, always a joy to watch you guys!
I had a green tractor. Nothing like you have but it did what I asked it to do. It was a good tractor. What I hated more than anything was having to go into the dealership. It always seemed to cost more than expected and I never really got what I asked for. I sold that rig and I didn't buy another one. its too bad, I enjoyed the job .. I hire people in to do it now. They can put up with the b.s.
You guys need what I used to use for that mud clean-up. Had a row hoe, (has the triangle head), handle was broke at about 2 ft long. Got in between duals and spindles really good. We only had 2 wheel drive tractors, so didn't have your problems.
