Ray Charles performs a brilliant version of I Got A Woman on the FATS DOMINO LIVE show {1986} With Jerry Lee Lewis, Ray Charles, Ron Wood, Paul Shaffer.
I grew up to Ray Charles. I remember listening to him in the car with my mom all the time as kid coming to and from home from soccer/baseball/karate class/practice. One of my fondest childhood memories. My mom loved him and was very fortunate to have seen him live maybe 5 years before he died. One the best and most influential musicians of all time. Jamie Foxx did arguably one of the best film portrayals of any celebrity I’ve ever seen in “Ray”. Wonderful film… RIP Ray! 🤌🏼💙
I wasn't born in this age but i love this kind of music and don't ask why but i love it. Mr. Ray Charles is an iconic singer i've a big respect to him, he is a legend and his music will never die. Greetings from Panama 🇵🇦
An American Treasure. The man was a genius. Great composer and lyricist. And the soul!! U feel every note. What a Ray!! As an aside, there is a really good bluegrass version of this tune.
@ko0974 I thought he wrote it- it was his own songs, which is what I meant. In the film Ray (2004), Jamie Foxx says "I am singing about my feelings for you. How I love ❤️ you. What could be more natural than that? Huh, Bea? More natural than me & you".
Lets start a band,... how Cool would that bee? With ' the '60 look, hammond and wurlizer , a horn section pffff, its my dream.... Lets make em al dance,..... Music is tthe best way to let us open oure minds and feel that we are ONE!...... ps Ray, the best movie ever!
Thank you so much for uploading this pearl of all his pearls of him.. if Sinatra was the show of the States, Ray was the SOUL AND SPIRIT of it!! The greatest of all!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
in the 1970s I was driving truck on rt 287 in NJ and a bus passed me going over 80 mph near Morristown .It said"The Buddy Rich Orchestra" on its side Did anybody ever see "Orchestra Wives" movie?.Jackie Gleason is the bass player in the Glen Miller Orchestra.
In 1957 I was lucky enough to see Ray Charles,Fats Domino,Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard at the Frolics Ballroom in Allentown,Pa.
Wow!!
Very envious
Hmm...how old are you? Just curious 🤔
Wow....unforgettable!
You were blessed then

One of the greatest artists of all time!!!
I visited Ray's little shack in Greenville Fla.,sat on his bed ,got his spirit,so Great for America
I hope it inspired you....
Ray is a beast, not only for the song, but cause he's ignoring the crowd's horrible off beat clapping and keeping a steady tempo
The accuracy
When I saw Ray he only sang 6 songs and the fans were mad when he walked off.The Raydets finished about another hour.

As it should. I like this song and I enjoy it but the lyrics are sexist
Ray Charles (1930-2004) did "I Got A Woman" (1954) for his wife Della Bea Robinson. Ray Charles rest in peace 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️ 🌹🌹🌹🌹 Brother!!!

THE BLIND SENSATION..
Unic & irrepetible

Listen to the lyrics and and notice who is cheering the most. The beautiful women. A home is not every woman’s place to be but most. Nothing to fear.
That,s great!

Ron Wood on guitar? Paul Shaffer in the back?
Blind guy made me think of you.
Ronnie Wood wanting to be more than he deserves.
ушедший гений которого в мире имбицилов уже некому оценить
Is that Izzy Stradlin on the bass?
Wish the crowd would shut up so I could hear him ffs
What’s the name of the drummer, please? Could someone tell me here?!😊

0:55 is Rod Stewart on guitar?
Sure is

He’s not blind.
Atma Anur on drums.
Watchu mean?
Taking that comment as a compliment, he sees more than we ever will so he’s not “blind”; otherwise you would be incorrect.
Thank you for remembering me the name of the drummer..🙏
Hmm? Ok
That crowd noise is not authentic
yeah, I think you're right. It's strange that it was added, I think it would be better without it.
