One of your videos was so exciting that it made me watch all your videos and now I know you are a professional.
Love you guys decided to save this S4 from scrapyard.. Even the car can not be started it still has lots of value parts. Those magnesium alloy rims on this car are quite special named Avus in good condition are worth 500 $ each rim, not mention the engine and gearbox and different other parts that can be sold as well for good money.. Would be fun to see like a part 2 or what happen with the car next.. tank you, you guys grow beautifully, we watch you from Europe, so keep doing good work !!!
12:04 ski bag
I would buy the car
the black plastic bag in the backseat is for ski's and ski poles. You can carry them inside the car while the melting snow is not going in to the car.
Whaaaat no way
@@WDDetailing yes for sure it is 👍🏻
@@WDDetailing I had a BMW with the same option
@@WDDetailing yes it is an extra I have in my Mercedes as well. Greetings from Budapest!
Engine is a 2.7 twin turbo that produced 250hp from the factory.
Hey everyone! We own this car now. Our plan is to try and fix it up over the winter and have out to our events next year. Thanks to WD for getting the process started.
thats incredible! checking out your channel now!
you guys should make a part 2 of this and focus on working on the engine and try to start it.
yes please
I would definitely watch that!
Hell yeah
Yes! I'd love to see follow-up videos where mechanics get ahold of the vehicles and fix them up.
Definitely!
b5 s4 with the legendary 2.7 twin turbo v6 that's an absolute powerhouse when modded. Crazy how much of an asset these cars are becoming.
These types of videos are FAR more fun and interesting than the "standardised" ones. Keep'em comin'!
We want to know what’s happening to the car now 😀 Thanks guys! Always amazing! Take care! Eddie
probably going back to scrapyard
Likely not scrapyard, but part-out, so everything that somewhat survived is sold since it makes more financial sense to sell it in good parts versus selling it as a whole needing A LOT of work
I just bought it… and now found this video. Lowkey super sad
@@kameronproductions3569Imagine, being that dumb
Yes I love when you talk guys it calms me and love to hear dialogue from experienced detailers talking bout stuff they've seen , done(and life experiences)
That bag in the rear is a ski bag! Some bmws have those bags as well built in for people who want to store their skis. They most likely use them overseas in Germany, I doubt anyone in the U.S. has used it before.
You're absolutly right!👌
Regards from Germany!🙂
Right. Im from Germany too.
Best Regards to the U.S. ❤
I used mine all the time in Vermont and New Hampshire!
Damn, you beat me to it!
I like the dialogue because it shows us what y'all are really like. As you said, we get a 25-minute video for something that took upwards of 10-12 hours over days. I find it super interesting. I'd also like to find out how your channel developed.
Also, no other channel does this. I like the trio now, and the duo before Mike.
Nice video as always guys. RJ showing his athleticism running out of the shop into the office area. Nice!
😂😂😂
What a score! 6 speed too! You're gonna love it. They are a real sleeper. We have a stage 3 Allroad 6 speed. It's a monster!
Love seeing you guys having fun whilst working and throwing in the odd "how to" bits in as well, and bringing life back into older classics...👌👍👌👍
I love that you guys show your personalities while detailing it makes the videos more fun to watch and also just funnier as well
Love that 2.7 biturbo v6! One of the top best sounding audi engines
Hello from Germany from the world-famous trade fair city of Leipzig.
Your so-called air tube.. 😄😉🤣 this is a ski bag to store equipment and to protect the interior from dirt and moisture.
Many German buyers of the legendary best all-wheel drive system often went on winter vacation to Switzerland, Austria or Italy.
This bag protects the interior.
best regards Alex
I've been following your channel for 2 years.
My attainable dream cars are a 3rd gen Toyota MR-2, Autozam AZ-1, or Porsche 924 Turbo. My unattainable dream road cars are an Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, McLaren F1, 993 Porsche 911 GT2, 996.1 Porsche 911 GT3, Subaru 22B, and a Nismo R33 Skyline. Great video, I like having you guys talk and show your personalities in it!
B5 S4's are great cars. Hope you can get it running.
I bought one of these in 2000 brand new. 6 speed manual, silver, black interior. What a car it was. MTM chip made it really quick. Miss that thing. Nice to see the restoration.
The colour and set up you had was very popular. Don’t see them around anymore. When and why did you sell yours ?
I've had several Audi S8's 1996/1998 with manual transmission. Loved them and miss them. Like to have one of those and a 2010 RS6 saloon
Nice I currently have a 2001 Audi a8 they’re a great chassis
I just got on the Audi wagon a few weeks ago. Got a good deal on a 2000 A4 S-Line. It's now in the shop getting the rear shocks and front bushings replaced. Everything on it works: all the electronics work; sunroof, windows, sound system. Next come timing belt and coolant replacement, and I got to fix one of the headlights because it seems water got into it, and replace the infamous LCD screen. It only has 84.000 miles on it, seats are not ripped or anything. so I think I got a pretty good car. The moment I drove it for the first time I was like "ok, THIS is what driving a nice German car means". I'm hooked!
Beautiful when older Audi-timeless come to life...
I owned a 2000 B5 S4 (bought in Houston, sold in Seattle, its only 2 homes, always garaged, never raced) in this color combo from new until 194k. original clutch until 189k. An awesome car!!! Regret selling, but as with every Audi, lots of maintenance costs along the way. Minimum $750 to $2500 each time I took it in. Great job, WD Detailing!
Love the B5 S4! Love to see what you all do with it!
Wow , so sad to See that this Beauty nearly got scraped. Great Work guys 🎉
Max from Germany
Definitely enjoy the talking and banter, and all the fun adventures and rescues! This is a fun channel!
you guys play the best jams during cleaning.
Be great to see this car running again with the seats sorted and all of the rust sorted.
We drove a AUDI A 4 B5 stationwagon with the 1.9 TDI ( diesel) engine from 1999, with more than 535.000 kilometers with no problem what so ever! Very reliable and with excellent driving and never have any problems , so that was the best car ever and we did drive it for more than 22 years ! The bag from the rear end you blow air in it and put your ski,s in it so you want damage the interior. And our Audi did not have any rust spot on it even there are a lot salt during the winters !
Fun guys to watch
I love the detail and mechanical aspect to it!!! Well done
2.7 V6 Bi-Turbo. B5 S4 is on the want list. Currently own a 2.0T B7 Quattro A4. LZ5A is my colour code and that doesn't look too fat away. Mine has light blue metal flake 😊
You're so right about how taking care of a car will make it last longer. I have two older Mercedes (2004 & 2009) and I constantly get comments about how expensive they must be to repair. I haven't had a single major repair on either of them because I get them serviced regularly and deal with any potential issues before they become problems. Both my cars perform and look much newer than they are.
Hi guys the thing in the rear armrest is for putting skis in. My favourite Audi would be an 1980s 200 Avant. And another great job 🙂
My favorite Audi would be the Audi RS2 -Avant made in joint-venture with Porsche..
Letting you know that wife and I love sitting watching you guys Sunday morning in Australia every week. Really enjoying your personalities
He's right about these things being reliable and I can confirm. We have a 1999 Audi A8 D2 2.5TDI and the car itself has 476100km or so on the dash and counting. And after all it has been through the car is virtually indestructible, and I have no doubt it can go for more. Sure the valve stem seals started leaking but thats the ONLY major issue right now. Else than that she still purrs and hauls around normally. These old Audis were one hell of a reliable beast man. And the suspension was and still is definitely ONE OF THE GREATEST in the game, its one of the nicest and most comfortable suspensions in a cheap car like that ever. You can pick up a 1999 s8 4.2 V8 here nowadays for like 4-5000 euro which is basically nothing. Great video!
Keep up this format. It’s nice to hear from you guys.
This is my old baby! I can’t believe what happened to it after I sold it in late 2017. It was mint when I sold it. It hurts my heart to see this but I’m glad it will be revived! I’m hoping to see it this summer at a show.
I still have a video up of the presale walk around for my eBay add. The buyer put all the stock part back on it before it was trashed.
More 90s gems 💎 please
I own an Audi S7 and love it. It’s reliable and a blast to drive. Just do the maintenance like you’re supposed to.
Outstanding job on the car. I'd love to see it back on the road.
Also in addition, I followed a fun leather cleaning tip, as usual do a test spot. But using Soft Scrub (bleach free) cleaner does a really good job buffing out stains on leather. Acts like a fine polish with grit. Worked well on my old Camry DLX before I sold it. 👍
Thank you for saving a b5
That Thing in the Middle at 12:00 is a Ski-Sack.
There is a Smaal Door from the Trunk in the middle, to reach the Ski through the middle of the car.
That Sack prevented the Water to get inside the cabin. This car was designed to get in the snowy mountains with your skis and friends to have some fun ;)
I have an S4 B5 aswell, but the Avant version (Station Wagon) and I love this thing.. 292'000 km on it ;)
My B5 S4 has just passed the 300,000 mile mark. It is my daily driver and has been ultra reliable, never letting me down in 19 years of ownership. I always feel that those that say the B5 S4 is unreliable have probably turned the $@*& out of it and therefore over stressed the engine, drivetrain, etc. Just enjoy it for what it is. Probably already said by others but the bag that emerges from the rear seats is a ski bag. This was an option.
Always one of my dream cars when I was younger, picked up an 01’ A4 1.8T and GIAC chipped it in 2000 but lusted after an S4 in nogaro blue. The Santorin blue this one is painted in is nice but Nogaro is still one of the my favorite paint colors of all time . Amazing cars then and still very cool today.
im sure someone has already said it but the back seat center tube is the skit boot, you put your ski's into it. normally people don't pull them out as they are a pain to get stuffed back in neatly and nicely.
I own two. Best cars ever. I will never give up on them!
Thanks for saving it! Still a beautiful car. Hopefully someone can get it running and finish getting it sorted. Nice to hear the conversation besides just the cleaning. Keep up the great work!👍👍👍👍
No one is going go restore that car
@@enjoythesho1992 Why not? Get 400WHP without too much trouble and better weight balance than the 4.2L V8. Doesn't sound as rorty, but a blast to drive. If the electrical is not too bad from the flooding, it could be done. The leather is an easy fix. Or would you rather just play a troll?
@@jhconjr The car has 250k miles on it for one it would cost more than its worth to "restore" and third I've been in the car game for a long time not a f***ing troll I know car values and what they are worth it would not be a smart investment to restore it but I'm sure to a big baller like you it would be chump change right lol
@@enjoythesho1992 It may not be justifiable from a purely financial standpoint, but might be from a personal interest standpoint. I hope you have a better day. Until then, you might want to look up the definition of internet troll. Criticizing is easy with the anonymity of the internet, but is ultimately self harming. Are you aware the guys on this channel have been open about their emotional struggles? One of the reasons I like this channel. Take care of yourself (no satire or condescension stated or implied).
@Thor Odin son doesn't matter how much they gave for it the price to restore it is the same lol .....your definition of "restore" and mine must be completely opposite but hey I'm sure you restore cars all the time right
Nice transformation, fellas!
Yes a part 2 getting it running, Please.
Great guys to watch
I do really enjoy the commentary as it’s shows your knowledge and experience and it gives me ideas when I have to do my car 👍👍
Owned 2 B7 S4. Perfect design
I enjoy watching you two act stupid lol! It’s so funny the banter between you two are great. It shows so much of your personalities! Keep it up! You both are great! 😊
Looking Sweet... Well done, Appreciate it
The way you guys do the cleaning proses is amazing
I love your videos! and that now you show a bit more your personalities, it's definitely more engaging. I would also like to have updates on the cars, did you guys manage to get the engine running?
I also noticed that at least in this video, the "before and after" was not there, but I really like that on your videos.
Saturdays are a bit more fun because of these videos!
it was great talking with you RJ! What a crazy night we witnessed. Hopefully you'll be around when I have my tomato colored R8 Spyder at an event.
Enjoy the “banter “ and the “back and forth”. Keep up the great work 👍🛻🚗
Another car rescued from scrapyard, and this is cool one, great job guys, want more videos like this) Question : what you do with car?
Dude...I would freaking LOVE to have one of these cars! The 2.7 twin turbo V6 was a beast at 261 HP and could rocket the car from 0-60 in 5.5 seconds. Those engines were notoriously unreliable, but it looks like someone took good care of this one. Other than the normal leprosy of the clearcoat, it looks like this one lived a fairly normal life.
One of the nicest colours from that era
I'm really enjoying the videos right now and the fact we can here you chatting is a good thing
wanted to see the vehicle running, left us hanging man!
Top Notch as always. I would like to see more of you guys talking during the video's.
First or second body style of the S8 quattro!!!!! Espectacular
amazing video, i own a b5 s4 and really really love this car
An audi a8 with some tone work on the exhaust is the best one out there
IM LOVING THE MORE INTERACTIVE VIDEOS SATISFYING AND I GET TO LEARN :)
Great save! Bought my dream car last year, a 2013 RS4 Avant. Last of the V8s! ❤
It's always good when you talk more to explain something about the car or your process as you clean.
Definitely keep Cookin'!
Brought it back to life 😍
The sleeve in the arm rest in the back is for when you go snowboarding or skiing you can run your skies or snowboard threw it so you don't get the inside of the car wet and can you do a part to so we can see if it we'll run and or what it we'll take to do so. I have a silver b5 s4. 132k miles and full stage 3 just done over the winter. Getting ready to dyno tune it in the next few weeks. Love B5s
new to the channel, thanks for saving this amazing car!
Ultimate ski car🙏🏻🙌🏻💪🏻🇸🇪
Mike’s not lying. B5 body, S4 is probably the best Audi of all time. This ones the 6spd too. So sick. Put some fenders on it, do the body work on the back, fix that expensive bumper and roll. Great work guys.
Thank you!
I had a B5. Any car is reliable if you're willing to constantly-constantly-invest in them. Forever. Always.
The bag in back center arm rest are for putting ski's or a snowboard. It was part of the cold weather package I believe.
the bag is for skis, awsome video :)
Always loved this generation and color!💯
The dialogue enhances your videos. Please continue. Enjoy your channel.
B8 RS5 for the win!
I think Audi makes such great looking cars! I had to buy a poor man's Audi (2014 Kia Cadenza) and honestly , i love it!
Awesome video ❤
Hello for South Australia! Love listening to your chit chat guys, keep em coming!
And I should also say, I am keen for more videos of you guys trying to get cars started.
I like it when you guys are talking about the car your working on. I have a GMC Acadia and I love it
That is a bag to put in skis for winter sport.
I bought my imola yellow S4 in 1999 and still have it 😀
Loved the car and the spotlight on the goofy moments 👌🏽
German cars is iconic cars ever, keep on doing Those cars I love it.
I like y'all talking you give great details about things keep it up guys
I love Audi so much😍
Needs a lot of love yet but at least its cleaned up be nice to hear that v8 purr again
Love love Audis , drive an A3 at the moment, used to have an A4 Avant (wagen) Tdi which was my favourite car (wish I still had it). It was the 1.9 B5 2002. It was also in my favourite colour which is dark green metallic.
my dream car, and my dream color :D nice job guys
I really hope you guys get to do an a4 b7 sometime those cars are amazing
The beautiful 2.7l V6 biturbo with 265hp with 5Valve technique
I Love to here you guy's talk and hear your opinion you guy's are awesome by the way
