Love that a segment of this video was used in Swanky Disc Golf’s top fairway drivers video. Love y’all and love the content. God bless.

Every company wants a River. But no one can quite do it.

-1,1 is not what I’d call under stable, it’s like a discraft version of a crave

That’s pretty stable. Prodigy F7 is understable. Looks like the fairway version of a Scorch.

I would say it depends on who’s throwing it. Could be stable for some people and understable for others.

Yet another golf disc review that is not all it should be.
Without knowing your release velocity and spin rate and elevation, your review is not as accurate as it could be. As a viewer, I don't have a reference point to ascertain how it will fly for me.
However, I just happen to have a cicada.
My cicada flies more overstable as compared to my lat64 river.
My max release velocity is about 45mph and I'm at 5000ft of elevation.
I am unable to measure spin rate but I'd say it's, like my velocity, pretty slow to medium.
I've tried to "break in" my cicada by throwing high shots and letting it crash to the ground but so far it hasn't changed the flight of the disc.
Your review is very good. I'm just trying to promote the idea that without environmental data, viewers of disc reviews have to base reference. I'd really like to establish how different discs fly in different environments.

The weight matters with this disc. In my experience, The light ones are under stable, and the middle ones are straight and the heavy are a bit over stable. I have one of each.

Dave he throws medium to low speed. I can see that because I have eyeballs and I watched the video. You have autism.

How did you find your release velocity ?

    • @davelopez9161
      @davelopez9161 7 месяцев назад

@@jmdittrich Probably because the weight affects release velocity and spin.

@@ryanmussell739 radar gun, pocket radar, or techdisc.
It's also possible to calculate release velocity from a video.
There is a program that will do the calculations.
