I guess I'll share some tips :> It's good to have another popsicle stick to push up the silicone to the front of the bag. Also, close the back of the piping bag so it won't get pushed backwards as much. You can also get silicone with low odor. :3 People usually use a Wilton #21 star tip.
I’ve always wanted to try doing decoden!! It’s been years... here’s the sign I’ve been waiting for. Never thought of combining resin with the decoden! What a great idea 💚
Hey girl, I love your resin videos so I will share a tip, I've been doing decoden for a few months and I'm pretty good at it When pipping, press the tip against the case in a 45 angle, this way you can make the star-shaped pipping with no trouble at all. Good luck!
Very pretty! I think it turned out beautifully. And that sakura shaker is GORGEOUS! I like the way you blended the colors in it. And thank you for the link to the sakura stickers. I just bought a gallon of resin last week from the Epoxy Resin Store and forgot to use your code. That is such a great deal. And they have several amazing resins, including Liquid Diamonds and their super-affordable General Use Resin. I'll remember to use that code next time.
it's soooo cool how you combined your shakers with the decoden phone case! it looks delicious 🥰 edit: this video was really satisfying to watch! it's clear you put a lot of care and effort into your pieces ❤️
You struggled bc the silikon in the bag pushed up all the timme you have to tie the bag close to prevent that look up piping back technickes for cake and not for silikon because you will find more and better tutorials+the backer community is more open about sharing techniques
Thank you so much for the tip!! I did not know that. The silicone kept pushing back up so I had to keep trying to squeeze what was going back up back to the bottom and it was so hard. The decoden artists that I watched make these cases made it look so simple and easy with how it is piped.
I love how not only do you teach us how to do all of this, you also share personal ideas! I love how you're not trying to "gatekeep"! More than that, you make sure that we have as much info as possible so we can jump into our projects fully ready 🙏 You are too good, take care and thank you for this content 🌺 (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*.✧
Is the whip glue not good then in your opinion? have not tried the silicone as yet, maybe it's more hardwearing. This is a beautiful phone case, loved the long video thank you for sharing :)
I would also recommend watching some cake icing videos to get some techniques! I understand that silicone is harder to 'ice' with, but to get a good enough technique i think itll be better to practice with different tips and techniques through cake icing videos. (Sorry, i was really into baking growing up so i was just a biiiit triggered😭) but i believe you will improve through this method🥺😊
I have a question. When making a resin charm is the resin supposed to cure hard or flexible. Because I made on but it's flexible. And I waited 24 hours
It depends on the resin. The ones that I use, typically the cure is nice and hard by the 24 hour mark. Some resins take 48 hours or longer to cure, if the pieces are not cure by then it could be that you are not mixing the resin properly (ie. not long enough) or your measurements are off.
Thank you for letting me know that! I thought maybe the silicone I had was bad or something because the way other decoden artists piped it, it looked so easy and piped like a dream while I was over here struggling lol.
I am sorry that this video is sooo long 😅 It was so hard to edit so much footage down to 23 mins. Hope you guys enjoy it 💗🥰
Loved it ... I want to try this ... fun fact the little hole in the handle of the silicone gun squeezer is a silicone tip cutter.
Very cute and good explanation on how you did the phone case! Love the round Sakura piece with the mount fuji 😍
Yes that is also my favorite piece too! And thank you!!
I guess I'll share some tips :>

Can I mix the silicone with food colors?you are amazing 🤩💖
Dig the aesthetic
Where do you get the green background piece to work on? I know it’s silicone but have not been able to find one. Love ghe phone!

Sometimes its still a bit flexible give it a few more days to cure

Where can I buy that cute Sakura stickers? It looks very pretty.
use sanding paper to give the case texture
Whats th3 brand of resin you use ? Also when u mix it comes out so nice and without bubbles , everytime i tried i see 500 bubbles on the resin
Are you not selling molds anymore 🥺💔 I really wanted that pocky mold
Star Berry yes I do! It’s just that on Thursday’s I close my mold section to get ready for my restocks on Sunday 💖
It’s not the tips, it’s just a lot harder to pipe silicone than it would icing. Xxxx
Thank you for letting me know that! I thought maybe the silicone I had was bad or something because the way other decoden artists piped it, it looked so easy and piped like a dream while I was over here struggling lol.
