Hey everyone! I am super excited about this tutorial because I finally decided to start making BTS inspired charms. There are quite a few talented kpop resin artists and I was a bit intimidated to make them since I wasn't sure if mine would even come out good enough. I was inspired by my favorite BTS song Euphoria (the whole LY album is my fav honestly). What do you guys think? Should I make more BTS inspired charms? Let me know in the comments below. I honestly don't even have a full room or anything like that to do my resin in yet. I just work with what I have until I move. So you could still even try it out.

What brand of the clear plastic film did you use to encase the shaker balls/beads?

I love how they turned out it’s so beautiful 🥺💗✨ Question: do you do you need a UV resin to put the plastic in place or can I just use the resin it’s self for doming/placing the plastic? (Since I am in a budget😔)
Alma Ignacio Jose you can use something like superglue. You just have to work really fast. The uv resin allows you to place it perfectly before you set it. You can use normal resin if you want to mix that small of an amount and wait for it to cure. Dont dome before its fully cured the plastic in place else it will move.
After watching your video I would like to learn how to do but can you tell me what are the list of items to buy
You should check AmyMade's video on how to seal shaker charms. It seems epoxy and UV resin won't bond together well, so that's why your pieces might be bursting when hit. Other than that, I really enjoy your videos, I've subscribed recently hehe.
Thank you so much for recommending me her video! I watched it and it was definitely super helpful in understanding why the shakers burst if you don't seal them properly. I will be using her method now in future videos, especially that second one when she punched a hole in the transparency film to avoid drilling the hole into the piece.

Hey, I have a quick question for you! If your using UV resin, do you need a respirator mask? I’m thinking about getting into UV resin but I want to make sure everything I’ll be doing is safe. I’d be using the type of UV resin that you used in this video ♡︎
I follow the same rules with UV resin as I do with epoxy resin. They are both chemicals and emit fumes. When using UV torch/light, you can actually see the fumes emitting from the piece. I made the mistake before when I first started with resin not wearing a mask when using UV resin and the scent of it alone, this depends on the brand I believe, was really bad.

You can. I just do it this way because sometimes I don’t get it centered correctly when I put the sticker straight onto the film

I just wanted to ask: instead of painting in the logo afterwards can we just paint it before hand?
Nishat Choudhury yes! That’s typically what I do with most molds. The BTS wording is small due to the size of this mold, so that’s why I did it this way. Also you could paint them with paint markers as well instead of doing the wiping method. I have some but forgot to use them in this video. 💗

Yes I have seen @Artsy Madwoman here on RUclips put photo paper I believe in resin before. You can check out her video on her channel since I haven't tried it out myself yet.

Heyyy, I was thinking about starting to do resin work, but I'm also a bit scared, since it is somewhat dangerous.
I was wondering if a cloth mask would do the trick to protect me from breathing any of the chemicals?
With covid, I think special types of masks are either wayyyy too expensive or wayyy too needed by those who are in the front line.

I've had numerous people ask me this same question. I honestly would only recommend the mask that I use because of the vapor filters since they block majority of the fumes that come from working with epoxy and UV resin. A cloth mask wouldn't filter out those as much.

I have an unrelated question, but I don’t know people irl who craft with resin, I hope you or someone who comes across my comment can help. I was sorting through my old shaker charms and found one of them had cracked and melted. The shaker couldn’t have been older than a year old. It was also the only one, but now I’m worried that my other resin pieces will behave the same. Do you have experience with it? I colored the 2 part resin with resin colorant and used baby oil as shaker oil

Because I wont be having a restock until September 13th and those are the only 2 molds I will have available until then.
