Na wa o. The things my mothers eye saw when my dad that used to be very buoyant,crashed for another 9years. Ahh my mum is a gem abeg, she helped my dad pick up with the business my dad established small for her before he crashed, she helped my dad build his house (we lived in it and built ,for 8years, started with a room) 😁.
I learnt a lot from those two Abeg, my dad was also an amazing person when money dey too sha, even after he picked up too. But men are not superhuman, they can be just as clueless and confused as every other person sometimes. When magic doesn’t happen, it’s not that they really wish for it, if you can’t help please be kind with him!!

The judge prevented her from vomitting more on the husband's illegit deals, and if it's not true, the man would have negated or argued himself out of that very accusation.

All i see is that the wife is disappointed about some things hence her allegations and this is as a result of the foundation of their relationship, I don't agree the man is lazy because his mum is filling up for him, we face the reality of life differently and from all the man said towards the ending about the accommodation and the space the wife uses for schooling one can deduce he actually has good intentions for her but then he can't do beyond his capacity. To be fair, she was making unsubstantiated allegations irrelevant to the suit. And true, if you knew he was involved in a life of crime for 11 years and you did nothing about it, under the law doesn't that make you an accomplice?
The judge is wise and asked the plaintiff to address issue of abandonment and leave the issue of her husband being a criminal without proof

If I may add my comment, it's noted that the man is cool headed & the two of them still love each other. It's only that there's no good understanding & cooperation between the two of them. No synergy as well. I remember that when my wife was teaching somewhere, she was always covering me up by having her salary deducted to pay our daughter's school fees during her primary school days. I do however, compensate her in other areas. Presently, she's out of employment & I'm the one paying our daughter's school fees in her secondary school now. The judge rightly do well by recommending them for marriage counseling. I do not see the husband as being "deliberately" lazy. The wife mustn't use whatever that goes on between them to determine her relationship with her mother-in-law. Mother-in-laws can offer best of advice & cooperation when going through those challenges just as mine does too.

The main reason for most marriages issue in JC is basically money, most men in Nigeria work on a monthly salary of 80k to 100k which can’t do much once you are married and kids starts coming in, the Government has made the economy so bad that the penny salary doesn’t even have a good purchasing power, if as a man you can’t do the needful as a man frustration starts even if the wife is all supportive. I pray this BAT regime prove all of us wrong and replicate lagos developments back then in lagos to Nigeria at large, I feel for all the young men in Nigeria including me who can’t afford japa at the moment as that seems to be the way out of the country’s mess for now.
