    13:10 this timeline portrays both Judge Asaolu's firm and soft sides respectively. Notice after she rebuked the defendant for his bad mannerism, he sincerely apologized for it because he could not help his bad attitude sometimes, immediately the judge expressed an acknowledgment of his apology with a subtle sympathetic smile.
    Despite this, she did not let that compromise her judgment. This woman is an extraordinary judge. We need people like her in the hem of affairs of our nation. God bless you, your honor.

    2.3m is what the defendant borrowed, but that money is closer to 5m in today's money. Honestly, the plaintiff has been cheated in so many ways. So unapologetic. The whole thing is so frustrating.

    A lesson I learnt from my father is don't ever give out a loan you cannot part with. This particular episode just made me see the essence of what my father told me.

      Honestly, it might seem like your a bad person for not lending but trust me it’s better to avoid such situations especially amounts that you can not easily overlook such as this , it is advised to lend out amounts you can let go off when the debtor becomes evasive such as this man

    Please there's something I want to learn. When the judge gives her judgement "the defendant is to pay the sum of ........ to the plaintiff, judgment for the plaintiff" without stating the time frame the money will be paid, how will the plaintiff know the period within which the whole money will be paid. I use to her say so in most cases.

      It's left to the legal team, the debtor might have to be remanded after a time frame until the money is fully paid...
      He wouldn't be allowed to leave a territory or placed in jail until his family raises money to bail him out
      HE WOULD HAVE TO EVEN PAY MORE BECAUSE BAIL WOULD HAVE TO BE PAID TOO

    I dont even understand what the defendant is talking about. When you raise an advance payment guarantee, if the payment is not made or supply delivered, the money is not lost. So i do not understand how he he lost the money? The man keeps talking in circles. 5k monthly is 60k a year; that is 38 years to repay.
