    Thanks again Juzzie, that was just what I needed, something really simple fromt the guitar perspective. I was a still little unclear about the timing for the chord changes in comparisone to the lick, I'm tending to change on the last note of each lick, but I don't think that is what you are doing.

    • @JuzzieSmithYoutube
      @JuzzieSmithYoutube  Год назад

      Try singing or humming melody first. This gets timing into your body 👍

    • @18astewart
      @18astewart Год назад

      @@JuzzieSmithRUclips I think that helped (more that I expected, to ber honest as my harmonica is a lot more fluent than my guitar, I'm even struggling with alternating two chords!). But I think it is important (correct me if I am wrong) that I change chords when I change bars (ie multiples of 4 beats), but I'm not clear on where the harmonica riff should be started, beat one of a bar, or later, or can it just start anywhere? Having said that, I've been having great fun with this exercise, although my strumming is still very erratic, somewhere between 3 and 9 between chord changes ;-)

    What! No denim? I feel triggered. After dabbling unsuccessfully in combining harp and guitar for decades unsuccessfully. But your recent lessons have changed all that. Thank you.

    Juzzie i have question. I keep quickly wearing out reed sets in particular spots. It may be from bending around 6-7 hole. I try to moderate my bends but in the moment im being expressive it seems im not achieving moderation. Is there a harp you would recommend in the 10 hole diatonic range. Ive been using lee oskar and special 20s? Any suggestions

      Hi Doug. I really like the classic 1847 by Seydel. I recommend to not draw so hard. Reeds mostly break when there is to much force. Hope this helps.
