I remember God the best during contact prayer, most of the time. The feeling at some points is so calming & while standing my body occasionally feels some kind like lifting up. Even reading the Quran does not give such nice feeling.. I never felt like this before ever in my contact prayer prior to being a Quran only muslim.

Lol I felt real nice too when a crazy Christian lady tried to bless me by murmuring and speaking in tongues then doing the cross symbol on me lol I felt very calm and relaxed almost ready to sleep , does that mean I. Should be a Christian or was it all in my mind

Brother salat doesnt mean duty. Salat means follow closely or to adhere something.. meaning of ibadat is duty or job..

Salat is ordained on believers at specified period of times, if your definition of Salat is Duty, are you saying that we must only be dutifull to God at three specified times namely Fajar, Isha and wusta? Wether Salat is ritualistic or Not If God says so we must obey, i suggest you re-evaluate your understanding about Salat the Proof of a Physical Salat is in 4:101 where believers take turns in performing Salat behind the Prophet of God when traveling under enemy threat. Even your translation of prostration is prublematic. Tell me brother on the Day of judgement what will you do if God orders you to prostrate to him if prostration does not carry with it the physical prostration? Please answer me?

@@surul-aynawali641 If sujud implies physical prostration, then how would everything and everyone in the Universe - including sun, moon, stars, mountains, trees, creatures, controllers, many humans and also those deserving retribution - physically prostrate to God (22:18, 16:48-50, 55:6)?

@@justriaz29 The word sujud has two meanings, one is the Physical sujod and the other one simply means Obeisance like in the verses you have quoted. As simple as that. In Salat however the meaning of Sujod carries both menings. Another proof that the Prophet and his companions were also doing the Physical sujod is in 48:29 Muhammad is the Messenger of God and those with him are stern against the Disbelievers but are merciful amongst themselves " YOU SEE THEM KNEEL AND PROSTRATE seeking the Bounties of God....the arabic word in this verse is TARAHUM RUKKAAN SUDJADAN. Meaning their actions of kneeling and prostrating during Salat was something thst was seen by the Naked eye and witnessed by people during his time. You see? That is why to completely take out the Physical meaning of kneeling and Ptostrating is Especially during Salat is a DISSASTER! Please read the whole verse of 48:29

@@surul-aynawali641 The Quran does not take the Arabic word “سجد” and its derivative noun “سجدہ” to mean falling down to earth and touching the forehead to the ground because Allah is not a statue of any material to fall down to His feet to worship Him but in fact Allah is ever live and plays active roles to run the countless universes and to what is in and around them. So, prostration or “سجدہ” to Allah is only conducted by obeying His commands, by surrendering our false beliefs, by inclining towards Allah alone, by turning towards Allah alone, by becoming humble in front of Allah, by obeying Allah, by complying with Allah’s orders, by following Allah alone and by becoming His obedient.

More so What makes you think that just because God is a living God and not a Statue or a Rock He Does not Deserve our Physical Prostration too asside from giving him our Obedience? SALAT - LESSONS FROM GEESE 24:41 :
    وَمَا مِن دَابَّةٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا طَائِرٍ يَطِيرُ بِجَنَاحَيْهِ إِلَّا أُمَمٌ أَمْثَالُكُم مَّا فَرَّطْنَا فِي الْكِتَابِ مِن شَيْءٍ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يُحْشَرُونَ
[6:38] There is not a moving (living) creature on earth, *NOR A BIRD THAT FLIES WITH ITS TWO WINGS, BUT ARE COMMUNITIES LIKE YOU. WE HAVE NEGLECTED NOTHING IN THE BOOK,* then unto their Lord they (all) shall be gathered.
*SALAT **24:41** - LESSONS FROM GEESE*
    *[Chapter 24: The Light, An-Noor, النُّوْر : Verse 41]*
[24:41] *DO YOU NOT SEE* that everything in the heavens and the earth glorifies God? *EVEN THE BIRDS IN FORMATION, EACH KNOWS ITS SALAT (CONNECTION) AND ITS GLORIFICATION.* And God is fully aware of everything they do.
*1. LEADERSHIP :* It turns out, that the inherent nature of geese in flight has a lot to teach us about leadership, connection and teamwork.
    *[Chapter 21: The Prophets, Al-Anbiyaa, الْأَنْبِيَآء : Verse 73]*

    *[Chapter 42: The Consultation, Ash-Shura, الشُّوْرٰی : Verse 38]*
[42:38] and those who have responded to their Lord (in submission to Him), and have established the *SALAT (CONNECTION), AND WHOSE AFFAIRS ARE (SETTLED) WITH MUTUAL CONSULTATION BETWEEN THEM,* and who spend out of what We have given to them,
    *[Chapter 2: The Cow, Al-Baqara, الْبَقَرَة : Verse 83]*
[2:83] We made a covenant with the Children of Israel: Serve God alone, be good to your parents, relatives, orphans and the poor. *SPEAK NICELY / KINDLY TO PEOPLE, perform the SALAT (CONNECTION)* and contribute towards purification. *THEN ALL BUT A FEW OF YOU TURNED AWAY AS YOU WEREN'T INTERESTED.*
In groups where there is encouragement, the productivity is greater. Remembering to provide recognition and encouragement towards each other (including the leaders) is vital to keep teams motivated and achieving their goals.
*4. EMPATHY AND SUPPORT :* When a goose gets sick or wounded, two geese drop out of formation and follow it down to support, assist and protect. They stay until the goose dies or can fly again. Then, they launch a new formation or catch up with the flock.
    *[Chapter 5: The Table Spread with Food, Al-Maaida, الْمَآئِدَة : Verse 106]*
[5:106] *O YOU WHO BELIEVE! CALL TO WITNESS BETWEEN YOU WHEN DEATH DRAWS NIGH TO ONE OF YOU,* at the time of making the will, *TWO JUST PERSONS FROM AMONG YOU, OR TWO OTHERS FROM AMONG OTHERS THAN YOU,* if you are travelling in the land and the calamity of death befalls you; the two (witnesses) you should detain after the *SALAT (CONNECTION);* then if you doubt (them), they shall both swear by Allah, (saying): We will not take for it a price, though there be a relative, and we will not hide the testimony of Allah for then certainly we should be among the sinners.
    *[Chapter 5: The Table Spread with Food, Al-Maaida, الْمَآئِدَة : Verse 55]*

@@AsadAli-hm2vx The thing is, if salat means duty, then dua is part of it.
We are told to seek help from Allah, how? Performing the dua.
And being real the "salat" as to mean the prayer is literally a dua with physicality.
But we also have as a duty warning others, forbidding evil and commanding good...
If that is correct, the salaat is a wide term.
      "I must perform my duty"
What does this mean? It depends.
"Perform your duty, call upon your Lord" this then is the salaat we know.
"Perform your duty day and night, warn the people"
      etc...
I'm still considering this position tho, and i do pray 5 times a day if i can.

Regarding Salah or Salaat or the prayer
There is no ritual prayer in the Qur'an under study.
The ritual prayer times 3 or 5 a day do not match the world in which we live. There are inhabited areas in the world that do not rise or set the sun for a month and two months, it is all night or day.
The second question is what is the benefit or logic of ritual prayer. Let me simplify the subject of ritual prayer.
There are people and a king rule them , the king decided to put rules to organizes the people and puts laws and regulations for the people, so he wrote the constitution book and put everything in it.
The people took the constitution and did the following: The people took the constitution and went to the king and read the constitution upon him 3 or 5 times a day with some movements.
Is this the case with ritual prayer?
I would like you to clarify the topic regarding the timing and the logical benefit of ritual prayer.
Did we not understand the concept of Salat/prayer in the Qur’an???
The meaning of the word SALAH صلاة in the Quran mean to connect
The Fajr and Isha SALAH in this verse
    [An-Nūr: 58]
they have nothing to do with the movement prayer, according to the context of this verse, God speaks at three periods a day for the people of the house to ask permission before entering and communicating with you, so the صلاة الفجر mean the beginning of connecting and صلاة العشاء mean the end of connecting with the people of the house and also when you put your clothes from الظهيرة
and the word ALTHAHIRA does not mean noon it has the meaning of get away or to disconnect and these words Alfajer الفجر, Althahira الظهيرة and Alashi العشاء have no
    Relationship to night and day.

when you said "Jews through out the history have never done a specific islamic prayer, that is standing, bowing, and prostation toward an idol in makkah". This is really dishonest statement, because before islam there were believers at the time of prophet, like jews and christians. Those jews also praying like standing, bowing, and prostation to different kibla (of course not to ka'bah in makkah). Prophet is not an inventor of islam, so if you try to play words in arabic (quran) and try to define the meaning of it without understanding previous scriptures, then you absolutely wrong. If you say "Many jews don't practice prayer any more" that would be different story...But at least, try to be honest...

If you make the attempt to study the Arabic language, you will see that Allahu-Akbar is grammatically incorrect i.e. it means God is greater. Greater than who? It is Allahu-Kabeer i.e. God is the greatest! That is His attribute in the Qur'an. Yet, you will blindly cling to unreasonable beliefs handed down to you by your ancestors.

My simple question to you how do you know which of these tens of thousands of Ahadeeth are the true teachings of Prophet Muhammad? To all the Muslims including those who lived at the time of Muhammad, right upto 200 years after his death and were spread from Africa to Asia and Europe, they did not have any ahadeeth to refer to. Do you think Allah left them without a clear understanding of how to apply his commandments?
Sample this - there is a hadeeth that says that women who pluck their eyebrows will rot in hell forever, now for all those 200+ years when this hadeeth was not written and all the women who were believing women who were following Qur'an, but were plucking their eyebrows, would they rot in hell forever because a Bukhari/Muslim did not write down this crucial piece of information???? Think rationally. Read the Qur'an it is not difficult even if you are a non-Arabic speaking person, spend some time and effort, after all this is a matter of your salvation.

You will understand how muslims collect Hadith of the prophet and how they saved their religion by grace of Allah .. Sunnah tells you all history of the Prophet and his companions How they apply commandments of God, and they most knowing about the conditions and circumstances of (the time, the meaning and the applying of Ayat) more than anyone else.. @@mariamalbarout2442 Please don't make up your own ideas about the system/religion of God. Tawatir has no basis in the Qur'an. Question is not whether people were trustworthy/truthful or not. Question is whether God has sanctioned trusting on anybody else other than his words? The answer is an emphatic NO! Nobody can save the religion of Allah only HE can, stop living in a fool's world. Qur'an is taught by Allah and not by Muhammad (he delivered the Qur'an no doubt), don't make statements that are a blatant rejection of Allah's words, have some fear. There is nobody in this world who can say that all that we have as Sunnah of Muhammad today is authentic, every sect has it's own belief on what is authentic and what is not. Do you think Allah would leave the entire world grappling to find out what is right or what is wrong as a source of information for their entire lives? The basics of Allah's religion are in the Qur'an a book that Allah himself claims to be clear, fully detailed and does not leave out anything. You are changing the basics of his religion by adding another source which he warned you against. When Allah says Obey the Messenger, he does not mean Obey the fabricated stories about him. He says obey the messenger and does not use Muhammadas a name in all such verses, a messenger's role is to deliver the message and when he says you to obey the messenger he means you to obey the message.
Lastly if you can tell me which of the so-called sunnah to be followed and which of the 52 odd books of ahadeeth be rejected I will be very happy. Such a hugely idiotic statement it will be when I say, that I need to follow hadeeth to be a good Muslim but no Muslim ever has been able to list down the hadeeth that needs to be followed and is universally accepted by all Muslims!!!! Can you say that about the Qur'an? No.. every Muslim irrespective of his sect, etc knows that Qur'an is the word of Allah all 114 Chapters.

I have a message that I’m sharing where I can, some may not want to hear this, but I ask that we stay polite and seek truth together. 😊
Love is an action. Feed the hungry, house the homeless, father the orphan, and protect the defenseless and vulnerable.
Read the Word for yourself, not only relying on others for guidance. Pray for guidance.Yahushua/Yeshua - His Hebrew name who is usually called (Jesus) taught to keep the whole Word. Including the Law/Torah. Matthew 5:17 “Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. 18 For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not [g]the smallest letter or stroke of a letter shall pass from the Law, until all is accomplished! 19 Therefore, whoever nullifies one of the least of these commandments, and teaches [h]others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever [i]keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Read 1 John. John tells us that sin is lawlessness, and that we must keep the commandments. Trust in the atonement of Yahushua/Yeshua who is usually called Jesus, and keep God (YHWH)'s whole Word/commandments. Revelation 12:17 So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. Revelation 14:12 Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. Go to parableofthevineyard youtube channel for information about the bible and good bible studies. I'm in no way paid or sent by him for advertising. I just have learned a lot from his content.
