Turning a narrowboat around - The Happy Travellers Start to move out of the boat

As we reach th final stages of our boat live and make the transition to full time motorhome living we just need to finalise the work on the boat to bring it up to a saleable standard and to make sure that the new owners will be happy with it.
We had to turn the boat around to give us access to the port side of the boat which has been somewhat neglected and is looking rather tired and drab. This is how the starboard side looked before we did the work to brighten iit up.
A fresh look to the paintwork and a brand new Yellow Stripe makes a world of difference.

Well done both Great Job and Wendy so focussed coaxing it along and managing to keep your ballance .Boat looks much better .Maybe you could paint over with a top coat of exterior clear varnish so only needs washing in future.
Only one more week.Time passes too quickly.Hope you get everything done this so you can relax and enjoy your family and perhaps planning the next stage of your life .Just be Happy .

Thanks Karen. Yes we do miss the Comanche but we have been happy with the Carabus as our daily drive as well as the holiday motorhome

Thanks for commenting. Yes the wind was low as it was a simple job. Previous times it has taken five attempts when the wind was blowing lol.

We have 4 son. Two in UK, one in Sweden and one in Australia.
Sadly not been able to get to Australia for 10 years so have to make do with FaceTime calls.
