The quality of your video is very good however I agree the logo spoils the image, what is very interesting though being a shorter boat you can see far more from the stern, I am looking forward to the tour and your first trip that was a long hard haul.

Did a similar length trip last year moving the daughter's new boat to it's mooring. 5 days of cruising, working 60 odd locks with the other daughter, eating and sleeping. Finished Boxing day. Best time I've had in 70 yrs.

Don't worry about bumping into things when your learning your way on the canals - just remember its a contact sport and no one keeps score! Suggest if your planing on keeping your boat for some time consider a pram hood for the back deck It will keep you dry when it hoying it down and give extra room for drying washing etc.

@@thenarrowboatvlog8653 Though it was a bit strange that a narrowboat as small as yours was not fitted with a hood to maximise space, I'd also see if you can get transparent panels let into your cratch cover, it will let more light in to your saloon.

The great thing about a tiny boat is that you can spin them around on any canal or river whilst their big brothers have to find winding holes, a pram cover is also a good idea, keep you dry when its pouring and acts as an extra room too, a couple of solar panels to keep your batteries healthy and Bobs your uncle !

You should try living aboard for a while, my partner and I have 2 dogs and have lived aboard our 26 foot narrow boat for 4.5 years, we love it, and never need to find a winding hole!

Yes turning the small ones is very easy and a definite benefit over the bigger ones - we met up with another boater who had a 60footer and he said he had to travel a couple of hours and do two locks to turn around - nightmare!

Looks to be a lovely boat but personally I prefer the 70” foot ones with big canopy on them lol just as well you don’t have a longer one you’ve crashed this one only kidding 😆 but as said it’s a beautiful boat

Thanks Markie! We did like the bigger ones but as we aren’t living on her thought it was a lot of upkeep and extra cost for the big ones :) they are utterly fabulous though

Hi Jane, yes I do ha! It’s Kelly (or Kel) Gareth has always called me ‘the wife’ some people don’t like it but I do - it’s a term of endearment honest!
