instead of cutting the old bearing in half just grind down the outer diameter so it will fit without getting stuck.
What you should do is heat the carrier to about 150deg c and freeze the bearing and it then should just drop in
Greetings from Greece! What is the type/code of the rear wheel bearings? Is it an fz6 of 2004-2006?
Try putting a fine layer of grease on the outside of the bearing before you hammer it in and preferably use a rubber mallet and guide it in with the old bearing like you was doing.
Hey man quick question, should I be hitting that needle bearing all the way down to that lip in the center of the wheel? or is there a specific measurement? My service manual doesn't mention a single thing about installation of this.
How did you remove the old needle bearing ?
What size of bearing that
where is the video part of you removing the needle bearing? did i miss it or something
Cheers mate
This turned out to be very funny!
God it's hard to look you banging metal on metal, not heating the iron long enough, not freezing the bearing, levereging metal on metal and brute forcing the bearing without evenly applied force.
