    Just what I expected. As the set progressed, Russell began to zero-in on Woong's serves for winners. Woong-Sun Jun should develop kick serves to either go up and away or up and into the opponents body. Also develop a punishing flat T-serve. Both are good players. I'd like to see them put more mustard on the ball at times. They're skilled enough with topspin and they're mostly hitting shots in high percentage areas of the court. No reason they can't or shouldn't send a few shots near warp speed !

    @mobilethomas74 You're welcome! That's cool that you two are close friends. Now I wish I had taken more footage of his match, but it was the 1st round so I was checking out 2 other matches going on at the same time. One of them was Aussie Sam Groth, by the way. Woong was fun to watch and took the first set from a Top 100 player!

    @hawaiidispenser Thanks heaps. I'm a close friend of Woong Sun Jun and I wanted to show it to him when he comes around to Sydney next. He will appreciate it as well. Cheers mate!

    @vincentmtmusic His serve is very nice. He was the underdog, actually, but took the first set from Russell 6-4.

    @darbocity I hadn't noticed, but yeah they are all short. I did later get lucky and record a single point between them that ended up lasting about 20 shots.

    It's alright. Thanks though! Your friend is an awesome player! Thanks for the video

  • @hawaiidispenser
    @hawaiidispenser  12 лет назад

    Actually, Russell has played Bogomolov and beat him easily. Russell has never played Devvarman. Russell is ranked #102, which is better than either of them. Tennis isn't always about power. Besides, you can't learn much from watching just one or two videos.

    In close situations like that, you have to give the benefit of the doubt. He should've said that was in, if he wasn't 100% sure.

    this chair umpire doesn't give a shit whether he's complaining , if he knows his call is right, he doesn't need to be cautious , seriously, he's not going to feel at all pressured by a player at this level of tennis

    I lack common sense!?lol. Is it better to suck up to someone, or stand up for yourself? He was 40-30; that serve would've gotten him the game. Losing it caused him to lose that game. He could've lost the match cuz of that call. Looks like you're the one lacking logic.

    If you played this level of tennis, like I have, you would know you're wrong. If someone complains about your work ( doesn't have to be tennis), you would obviously care. Each bad call the umpire makes, the more shitty he's gonna look. So saying that he doesn't care, is bull shit.

  • @Agent77X

    Very inconsistent play by Woong-Sun Jun! He kind of beat himself. Lost his serve too! If he could be more consistent; he could competitive! He plays like a 3.0-3.5 player!
