I've found appreciation anew for Pages. A kickstand, a folding Bluetooth keyboard, and an iPhone make a useful travel environment. Minimalist, yet effective and perfectly synced with my Mac. Amazingly, the folding keyboard helps my writing. It's almost big enough, almost comfortable enough, and I can almost type error-free. That's enough "almosts" to inspire artisanal angst in the face of uncaring fate. Better inspiration than a burr under the saddle can't be found! 😉
I think this is why I am tempted by the iPhone 16 Pro Max this year: the screen is just bigger enough that I can see it making a good workspace. I did much the same as you before with an iPhone XR, I think it was, but that seemed too big for everything else I was using it for. Not sure now. May have just talked myself out of it. Get out of my head, you. Sheesh.
William, my AirPod was also whistling. Took it into an Apple Store in Glasgow and they said there was a known issue with them and gave me a brand new pair. This despite having them for over a year. Worth a shot.
You can't say that and not tell me what you bought! Tease. It's strange: I did watch other videos as I said and it didn't occur to me that they were being shopping channels, yet when I came to do the same thing, I was very self-conscious. Most peculiar.
I absolutely loved this! It reminds of every trip I have ever made and all the prep for the tech involved. Also loved the way you ended it. I, too, have Austrian leatherwork purchased in 1986 in Linz, but that is another story.
Thank you for mentioning your desktop keyboard was an Apple one. I've found I type better using a lower profile keyboard, but this is a darn Windows keyboard and the command key is not the one next to the spacebar, and it has the word 'Win' on it. But the keys seem a bit bigger and I'm hitting the right ones most of the time. I really miss the command key though! ... Quandaries
Well. RUclips appears to have thrown away my reply. Clearly it wasn't good enough. I must do better. What if I told you that I once came up with a character name because I was using a new keyboard and my fingers tapped the wrong keys?
Your embarrassment over creating a shopping video is hilarious! Great video as ever. But you are such a tease - all that gear that you take for all that filming you aren’t going to do, and yet you don’t tell us about the gimbal sitting behind you on your desk. I might just have to go and look at that Ugreen adapter now.
Thank you. The gimbal might as well be an ornament for how little I use it -- I had it for a different project -- but then just out of shot on the other side is a drone I bought on holiday over a year ago and still haven't taken out of the box. What is the matter with me?
“Look at the quality of information you get here.” ❤
Made me smile. Thanks.

Thank you: I'll take mine in over the weekend. Much appreciated.
For the inaugural broadcast of Gallagher Shopping channel, I was impressed. Plus some of this was added to shopping cart too….

@@WilliamGallagher That would be the MacBook charger. I think I can find a few uses for that since I have two of them and constantly go between them.
Ah, 58 Keys, come for the insights, stay for the shock ending!
That made me beam.

My Vienna trip was 2023. How can we both have been in Austria and not met up? Sheesh.

Hmm now you got me interested in getting a modern briefcase or similar bag instead of the CPL16 backpack I was planning on buying this October.
I do prefer messenger bags but a backpack might be better ergonomically.

@@WilliamGallagher There’s a whole RUclips channel in that alone: gadgets I don’t use :-D
That tickled me.
😂 What this proves is that we would sooner leave behind our pants than our tech. I have given up traveling altogether.
I actually also forgot some pants on this trip. I thought I'd got away with it...
The kitchen sink ?
Just waiting for Apple to make one.
