I have the MRX chassis , what do you recommend as far as a ready painted body for this chassis. Great looking bodies for that model , I also order the chassis as well.

Hello, great video. I am new to the mini's. I have the Atomic SZ2 and just finished the build. Have the Furitek 5500kv Hellfire with the Cyclos esc, HV1820 servo. Not sure where to find the 26t pinion gear, have been searching but getting confused on the correct one to get, and clueless on tire type as well. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated to this newbie.

How does the SZ2 compare to BZ3 as shaft vs belt drive?

Understood, sir. Welcome back. Solar is an exciting thing. It's an idea that always sits in the back of my mind. Especially when my power bill comes due. If i was keeping this house longer, i'd pull the trigger on that. Congrats on energy freedom!

I have massive steering troubles with my SZ2... It oversteers in left corners, and understeers in right corners. Cant find any setup issue. Have you any advice?

Always check the joints move freely . Check your servo set up . Even check wheels in case uneven . Also check tightness of rear wheels and tyre wear

I'm looking to add an AWD to my collection (our local club currently races "Box Stock" AWD, and I'm working on convincing them to consider adding an AWD "Mod/Open" class), and the SZ2 is, as of yesterday, the 'winning' chassis (after also considering a few others). From what I understand, upon release, it had some 'problems'...but, evidentially, Atomic has 'worked' them out. Hoping this will be another fun car (I don't care about winning...I'm in it for the fun-factor).
On a related note, while the chassis, as well as upgrade parts, have been selected, it is the body I am having extreme difficulty in deciding. What I'm curious in knowing (assuming you've had the opportunity to test multiple bodies) is, which Kyosho Auto Scale & GL Racing bodies fit the SZ2, preferably without any modifications? One body modification I am willing to do (if necessary...but, again, one I'd prefer not having to make) is moving the body-chassis mount tabs (such as must be done when mounting hard bodies onto the Reflex RX28SE).

As standard all the gl racing bodies are good as are they are wide I’ve tested the lambo and ferrari. . The other is Audi 2010 kyosho . They do a yellow and blue one racing one . I tend not to switch bodies once I find one I like. Haven’t tried the McLaren 12c gt3 .

@@GarageMiniRCUK Not so-much the width I'm worried about (although, that is also important), but the body height...specifically where the F&R shock towers are. Bodies that area to 'low' in these areas wouldn't fit, as they wouldn't be able to 'seat' down to the front and/or side clips. Thankfully, the Lambo GT3 is one of the bodies I've already been considering...the STO is one of my favorite (current, but very soon-to-be discovered) Lambos. The McLaren is also under consideration, but below the Lambo in my "list".
'Good' news is, FedEx delivered Kenon order (steel chassis, and some of the upgrades) yesterday, work USPS set to deliver the SZ2, servo, and most of the other upgrades today. The last of the upgrades (coming from Miracle Mart, as they were the only ones having them in-stock) should be delivered in approx 3-4 weeks...but, that's ok, as I can temporarily install (without Loctite) the stock parts while awaiting those upgrades.

I’ll do another video on this as I have upgraded the servo in my sz2 .

@@GarageMiniRCUK Will be on the lookout for it. In the meantime, I have to finish editing a Traxxas Sledge video, and then start building my PNR2.5 chassis (I won't be doing a build video, as another channel already did an outstanding 6-part build series).
