Sounds like the games with my best friend's Inalla deck. People keep trying to get on his good side to avoid a bit of removal in the early game, but the longer the game goes on the more likely he is to win. That's why I always make it my mission to point stuff at him when possible and enourage others to do the same by reminding them what happened the last time they tried to be nice because he didn't have anything scary *on* *the* *board* .
This game reminded me of that "Cursed" Derevi, where you were dissapointed in all of your life choices that lead you to the moment, where you keep drawing colorless or tapped lands.
I find it awesome that a almost fully precon morph deck won the game XD. Recently bought that deck and I was suprised at how good it works without even put in upgrades. Also...love ghired (altho i did pump it up a notch with better cards :P) Cool commanders, cool plays, have a like :D
That is because this is a bad and slow list. Strong Edgar decks play tons of 1 and 2 drops + fast Mana rocks + fast tutors + mass card draw like Wheel and Ad Nauseam + anthems. I have laughed off 5 board wipes in a single game and won because it is so easy to rebuild. Another example is how Liliana, Dreadhorde General & Dark Prophecy laugh at board wipes. Suddenly I am drawing 2 cards for each card it cost me to play. Oh,and while you and the rest of the table are busy wiping the board, you are often not advancing your own game state, or at least not as much as you otherwise would be, which causes you to time walk yourself. Purhoros, God of the Forge means I do not have to attack to win.
@@gilang4838 - Yes 1. 30-33 creatures. Make sure almost all of them cost 1 or 2 mana if possible. Only a few vampires should cost you 3+, and those should have a HUGE impact on the game. 2. Card draw + tutors. The best you can afford. Lots of it. 3. Ways to improve your swarm. Permanent cards (artifacts and Enchantments) that grant +1 or more attack and some sort of evasion. There should only be a few "silver bullet" answers in your deck. We don't want to be reactive. We want to be proactive and aggressive. The game play is to get a lot of vampires in play and early, pump them up or otherwise make them better and draw cards. Choosing who to focus your attack on is important. Oh, and ramp. The best you can afford. Do not use slow ramp like Signets, because they require Mana to activate. You can use faster ramp like the Talisman cards which allow you to use the Mana that turn. They look similar, but there is a difference, and it matters.
Kadena's precon was excellent. It was strong enough out of the box and only really needs a few adjustments to be made into a powerful EDH deck. I love that the decks here don't seem that powerful, I could see your decks being played easily in the EDH Discord.
As a proud owner of an upgraded Kadena Pre-con I can say Kadena has some killer potential and can get out of hand quickly if built the right way. And it's a Morph commander that cantrips each time you cast a Morph. Imagine making morphs *free*
This is insane, I have 3/4 of these commanders, what a time to be alive. Well I guess that's what happens when all your commander decks are precon commanders XD

You guys were REALLY nice in letting Kadena live. There were numerous times Kadena could have been killed - particularly when Bobo was throwing a handful of lands around the table.
14:33 Kevin shouldn't have given back Chrome shell Crab, that's not how that card works. Chromeshell crab says exchange 2 creatures, it doesn't say until end of turn
Kevin let Ricard from the early game get to him. The choice to attack Ricard instead of focusing down the obvious threat (Miguel) was horrible threat assessment.
Hey there stupid question here .... I am making my first real Commander deck ..... I am building a Edgar Markov deck and am looking for some advice ..... I would like to Play around 38 vamps and I just need some advice on the build especially in the mana base , especially if I cannot fill it with 20$ plus lands
Why would anyone be making deals with top left at all, especially at the point where he has taken very little or no damage and everyone else is hovering around 20? Top right basically gave him the win by refusing to do anything remotely aggressive towards him. Even when top left was the only other player with a real boardstate and removing his commander would totally disrupt his plan, the guy just keeps focusing down a creature deck with no board and a token deck with no lands. I've noticed many of the games on this channel have similar results too.
Keep the cards big on screen for more time please, no reason to make them small before the next card comes in. Helps especially if you're watching from a phone.
As a kadena player myself i would love to see the decklist for his deck as mine is very similar but there are other cards which seemed awesome in this deck!!!!
Getting mana screwed in green, RIP Ofc the blue player wins smh.... jk Kadena just gradually netted too much value, the Kadena player definitely needed more attention and or pressure.
So only 2 mins into the game and you wasted your turn 2... shock and play your ramp seeing as you had no more land in hand unless you drew one or play the greaves, cause you didn’t do anything that turn. Little things that help improve
Miguel and Ricard showcase just how pushed some of the precon Commanders can be in this game, whereas Ghired is an example of how clunky and disappointing they can sometimes be. But plenty of interaction made for an entertaining game.
Well of course Kadena is gonna look good when people keep making deals with her player and literally not killing Kadena once, allowing Miguel to get insane value off of it. When people actually interact she's perfectly balanced.
Actually in my playgroup Ghired seemed to be the strongest out of the box. I play Kadena and the deck is very vulnerable if Kadena is taken care of because all of a sudden you lose your best card draw and mana efficiency engine. The morph cards on their own aren't really that good. Ghired has a lot of high-impact standalone cards and almost every play is relevant.
