Agreed. From a long time Kodi user .... it is hands down the best media source from all of these choices ..... just spend a little time learning your way around and it will become your go to source. There are other apps that will give you a similar experience but none are mentioned here ; ) .

Kodi needs a benevolent dictator for the big picture, to modernize the shaky foundation on top of which everything else is built, provide a platform for users that actually helps them find what they need fast and simple and without insults, which ultimately entices them to donate money. Their devs deserve someone like that, I hope someone steps up to the plate. I could name a kodi fork that does most of that better than the real thing.
Idk why but im starting to see flaws on it and i dont like them Problems like: •Buffer and slow playback •Terrible media player(of stremio) •i have to choose quality before watching(its annoying) •subtitles bugs •cant organize my watch/watching/watchedlist Some issues are minor😅 Its the playback and choosing quality for me
what kodi has that does not have much site and that is a lot of customers and now they want to say that they have a better site than kodi so that the customers go to their site but why did I do and they were all paid sites and kodi not so why then switch to another site that is not free. And VPN you can also install on your device and you will be protected on every product anyway.

Jellyfin App works on that cheap X96Q. (You still need to setup a Jellyfin server somewhere ...)
The X96Q does also have KODI installed.

Stremio still the best for me with lots of add ons,plus real debrid..Best experience so far for me.
