Awesome job helping that customer by walking him through everything!! I wish some day if I decide to do my car I can travel to you so my car can be tuned by you.
Kudos to you for taking on this project without knowing what hidden mods are on the car. It not only shows how good you are at this but also your confidence in what you do. Most tuners would never..
It is crazy and dangerous, scarred the fuk out of me the first few times I drove it still shocked when I get behind the wheel but more comfortable now great car I should t own it but I do so ganna make the best out of it while being as safe as I can be
Seriously awesome work man; love that you're so open to sharing knowledge with your customers, wish more tuners were like you. Lot's of people have that thirst for more knowledge and just don't know how to show it, especially when their all their tuners that might be local are more cocky or arrogant than open and accepting, we need less gatekeeping and more encouragement. Wish you were closer I'd love to shoot it at a shop with someone like you. Kids starting his car journey off strong, I'm sure this just kicked him into high gear. Hate to see some of the snarky comments on here towards him, we all started off not knowing it all, and we're all still learning. Last thing we need for people who are freshly into the performance hobby is to have people talk down on them, that's how the next generation of any hobby dies. Love to see it bro, and if the owner see's this, keep at it; and get some killer brakes for your new hot rod hahaha.
Majority of time the issues with the ignition switch has to do with the entire key assembly around the steering column wearing out. You can do a temp fix by removing the ignition switch and placing a piece of electrical tape over the opening where the lock assembly goes into the switch.
Nice set up! i have a 2.2 FP Black R2 cams full bolt ons -8 lines twin 450s 8mr for last 5 years and want to go a Zero and make 500wkw in Australia! my Black at 35 psi makes about 420wkw! i'm mhi not SS housing so could change rear housing and make more! on Black! but Zeros are rare and big dollars here like 4k$ rather go a T3/4 set up
Awesome work, sounds great and making good power. Finally got a good recommendation from the algorithm for once. Out of sheer curiosity (and if you covered this in another video feel free to link it) - What are some things a customer should do and or keep in mind prior to showing up to their dyno appointment?
I'm having a wierd issue. Lost compression equally on all 4 cylinders. MAP is throwing a code. Swapped to a new MAP sensor. Same issue. All this after installing 2 450s in a radium hangar & re-wiring? Is that a tuning issue?
No those things don’t tie today or unless for 1. The issue was already there for low compression. 2. You swapped pumped and joy ride the car without tuning it testing it out ran rich and washed the cylinders where rings can’t seal anymore.
@@thenomadtrader1142 test the cylinders, add at least a cap of oil to one and re test that one. If you get some type of compression it’s your rings. If not then check ya head
Yoyoyo..... in your experience, do you think Honda has the best motors out there? What weaknesses do you see with them, if any? And it seems like you have love for the Mitsubishi motors, what will you say is the advantage and disadvantage between the two?
A tuner doesn't tune for low power. They tune for maximum power within the current reliability of the motor limits. Once he gets his brakes fixed, he'll be looking for more power after a month!
@DJ_Driven I dont care about what the tuner is tuning for that wasnt ever questioned. I was talking specifically about the kid not being ready for that much power and how the car pulled to the side when getting on the brakes.
@@js_playaiv done just fine with the car now and iv been driving consistently since it was tuned*** (im the owner)*** took some time to get used to but been doing great

I’m a very personable Tuner I take time with my customers. Yeah lmk what state
Man your attention to detail and knowledge is amazing. I'll definitely be going fp zero
Thank you. Reach out for anything

Thank you brother. This is also the reason I didn’t push it more. It has more power left on tap.
Dude the fuel pouring out through the regulator was nuts build is super nice man good work.
Super crazy lol. Thank you
That is a crazy top end on that car, def dangerous if he never owned something similar
Life can be very wicked at this power. I tune to what customers want tho.

I’m going to build a 2.2 soon bro with all the goodies on the drivetrain let’s have some fun soon

That’s crazy! Almost twins. Mines ready for a tune also. Buschur 2.1, Fp Zero and full bolt ons. Thinking I might make a little more.
Hell yeah. Turn it up

When the "sticky ignition" happens just press the key inward to engage the mechanism
Or just fix it 😂

Just run through the car make sure it’s all solid, pressure test, bleed coolant check compression etc etc
@@Performance_Destination Ah ok, appreciate it! Just didn't want to overlook anything stupid/simple and am always willing to learn.

It’s FP manifold. But still doesn’t limit you to making power.
I have had my evo 14 years now and i never knew that was an ignition switch issue.
Need sequential gearbox
That would be sick asf 🔥🙌🏾
He will have fun with it.
I had fun with it on the street here 😂💯
Do you have a video on the best way to pump out the 93 when switching over to e85?
The best way for me is how you see me do it here haha
@@Performance_Destination yeah that's why I'm asking. I can't tell how you're doing it exactly and I need to flush mine out soon!
Didn't' know FP Zeros made that much & those TQ numbers !!
Nah this was soft lol. Zeros make way more HP than this.
78lb turbo will do 800whp! i want one
Hi do like your works 💪
Thank you
Do you work on Hotrods from the 1970's
Of course we even tune Holley EFI
Awesome work but damn that makes me nervous with him never owning something with power. Evos at 450 can be a handful let alone 700+.
I always just try to do a good job and provide what the customer goals are
how do you compare the FP Zero to a Black?
Not even close. Now I have made jam on a black too but the Zero makes it with no effort
Why did you go back to a dyno jet? Awesome vid as always 👌🏽
It’s not this is the only dyno I’ve owned. This and a hub dyno
Good work bro! Not sure if i missed it but what boost levels were the ending results ?
I think it was 38psi. Thank you brother
Did the owner get back to you with a build sheet? Very curious about the size engine and cams.
Nice numbers how much boost? What sice engine?
All of it lol on a 2.0
Keep up the good work. Love the videos

No way! Compression has nothing to do with electrical. You did a comp test?
If you lost compression on all 4 cylinders you have a bigger problem than a MAP sensor or fueling bro…

All that money into that car, you can’t fix the ignition crazy
Newly owned I don’t think he knew what the issue was, but I advised him on what to replace and now it’s working perfectly fine
The owner kinda sounded like an idiot
Where is your shop location?
I’m in Orlando Florida but we also travel tune and remote tune
gotta be gsc s3s
Actually no it ended up being a 272 cam. Even at this power level i wouldn’t go S3 yet to lose all this bottom end mid range.
R2 cams would be perfect but s2 will work also as you can see clearly
What’s the max you can get out of id1700x
Not sure that question depends on the base fuel pressure 😏
