We need Rivian to survive a production hell. Not sure they have the leadership to go thru it. I have a decent position in this company. Hope they make it. They make Great vehicles.

It would be a drop in the bucket to walk away if it came to that...I hope that it doesn't however. Definitely need more competition in the space that make it to profitability!
I don't see Amazon putting more money into Rivian. They could just take the EV Van side and sell the rest

I agree with your take. They need about 2-3 years of more funding. After they dilute/build capital, I actually plan on building a position.
As a Tesla Model 3P owner, their vehicle is truly exceptional and beautiful.

Great product, but that money furnace looks like it's out of their control at this point. I want to buy an r3x but I'm starting to lose hope that it'll ever come to market.

I lost 20% on rivian but I am glad I sold it at 42 dollars and it was a small position for me.

They are worth about what their buildings are so maybe $2 billion and Amazon should buy them out just for the commercial side and shut down the consumer

If you remember, I called bankruptcy for this company. They have no idea how to cut costs and are hemorrhaging money. For those who wonder what would happen if Elon wasn’t the CEO of Tesla, I give you Rivian. A perennial money loser. Elon’s ability to cut manufacturing costs for EVs are extremely underrated.
