For all the insulting comments , she is my 2nd cousin . Her father is my 1st cousin and she 100% is being honest . She is 21 and so new to her trauma and this was a life moment filled with fear and anxiety for her ! This is a new journey for her where she learned and still is learning how to process this . There will always be trolls no matter the subject or content.
I pray that by telling her story, she will experience a deeper level of healing.

As someone who went through this exact experience, starting at the same age, with an "uncle", I can tell you how absolutely real and genuine this is. The words just don't come out...they are in your head but they just don't want to come out. You have images in your mind but they don't have the right context to make sense. I'm 60 and those images from 50 years ago are still in my head but I remember them through 8, 9, 10 year old eyes. At the time, you know it's something you don't want to do, but you have no idea why. When you get older and you realize what the images mean, the sense of shame that there was something wrong with you that made it happen is indescribable. It's not even a conscious thought....more like you became something you didn't want to be before you even had a chance to become who you were meant to be. I've often wondered how my life would have been different had I been "normal". The truth is I'll never know because that choice was taken away from me without my consent. Although you'd look at me today and see me as "normal", I'm not and never will be. After burning my way through years and years of promiscuity, I finally met the man I've been married to for 30 years. I did everything in my power to push him away, but he stuck it out. I don't know why he did, but I can tell you that my husband is the only thing that ever made me believe there could be any good in the world. Being sexually abused as a young child changes you in ways that never ever go away.

Trauma Therapist here.. I'm navigating these stories daily. You are a great historian for the most pivotal moments Things causing some of your deepest core wounds. I'd do anything to walk you through this. Every time you speak it through it, you disempower its grip. As a trauma therapist, do you think that some of us who were molested that we show ADHD type symptoms.
As a childhood trauma survivor I’m beginning to think this sick behavior is a national pastime in most families. It’s an atrocity. Way too common sadly and tragically. I’m lifting her up in prayer.
Sorry to hear you went through something like that, but you can’t let that color how you look at life in general. I know it’s way easier said than done, but not all families are like that.
Happened to me too but it wasn’t a family member, it definitely seems to be way more common than most people think.
Same happened to me. A very sick twisted past-time. Plain nasty these perpetrators. No excuse.

My late mother was sexually abused by her father from the age of 5 to 17 years old. Her mother was “mentally ill” and was not aware of what was going on. It affected my mother by her becoming an alcoholic and she was very promiscuous. My parents divorced when I was 7 years old. My aunt explained to me what happened to them, growing up. My father had custody of us, thank goodness. I’m 68 years old. My mom was admitted into a nursing home when she was 60 years old. I took care of her needs until she passed at 78 years old. I know she loved me but was not able to express herself in nurturing way.

The importance of sexual education is immeasurable. She couldn’t even name the trauma of what she was dealing with at the time. This woman is a truly warrior.
Sex ed is very important, but she was eight years old when it began. A seven-year-old doesn't need to be taught about sex
I remember being taught that my body was private and nobody was allowed to touch me but, I did not know what sex was and I wouldn't want my own children to know anything about sex before the age of eight or even the age of 13
@@southphillylilly I understand what you’re saying. I am not saying children should know about sexual content at 8 or so, I was just saying is important to know, even at this age, that people shouldn’t touch your body. That’s what I meant. And we can’t assume parents will always teach this kinda of stuff, sometimes they are the abusers. The idea is protect the little ones, to make sure they indentify abuses and call for help. If the name “sex education” is the problem, call it whatever you want so, but is meant to protect those who doesn’t know better yet.

@@katiekane5247 I agree with you! But there is a thing: abusers will try to abuse children with a lot of aproaches other than touchs in genitals or so. Forcing they watch porn, roleplaying , feet fetish (like that ICarly director) and so. That’s why we need to get deeper and teach children more than anatomy, we need to make them understand that there is a lot of situations that adults (and even other children/teens!) can abuse them and they must seek help if they are passing by any of it. But still, I agree 100% on what you you’ve pointed about body knowledge, this even helps at the body positivity matter!
What is most important is using the correct terms for their body parts, not cutesy words because you don't want to say labia or vagina. Parents not giving the child the correct terms is responsible for many child rapists not being convicted. Yes, sexual education should begin before 8. It should start in preschool with body parts and safety and gradually increase with age-appropriateness. When a parent just does a big awkward sex talk too late, children and teens won't feel comfortable ever coming to you. There needs to be a foundation of open conversation on related topics built their whole life.
it is a miracle she is not fallen in the same pattern of her mum's life. I hope she continues on her path of discovery and lead a normal life.
It took a lot for her to talk about this, you can see. She has such a gentle, strong energy and will no doubt go on to help others and break the cycle 🙏 PS. CPTSD from living in a consistently traumatising household can mimic ADHD symptoms.

I wish for you to find a therapist that is right for you and who'll guide and support you through your healing process. You are quick thinking and intelligent along with being compassionate and kind. I never understand how mothers 1) aren't aware of their husbands sexually abusing their kids and/or 2) know about and CHOOSE to do nothing to protect their kids !!!!
Mom is probably doing the abusing also. It's not just men who assault their children.
Psychology gives some insight but yeah it is still pretty mind boggling

Some women allow it because they have no were to go with 5 kids.

She should testify at the divorce hearing for the step mother to have full custody with supervised visitation for the pedo. Tell the judge. Look him in the eye. That can save your little sis.

I am also from south jersey and my own daughter is a licensed therapist with her masters degree. She is a youth victim counselor. Please try to get services again from Camden County. I’m crying for you and your sisters. That pain is burning my insides. I wish I could protect all children from this kind of abuse. We didn’t choose to take on our trauma, but it’s our responsibility to overcome it.
Angelina, those are wise words to live by. You’re a beautiful person and so brave for everything you’ve done. Thanks so very much for sharing your story and telling the world what a monster your father is. I totally understood when you said that he has a way with people. I was married to a man who was living a double, more like triple, life. No one knew what went on under our roof except me and the police because he was such a caring, likeable, intelligent, great guy around everyone else. Everyone loves him and believes his lies, even lawyers and judges. Those type are master manipulators. It’s frustrating, sickening, and sad all at the same time because it’s like they’re two people, and it’s hard to separate them. I’m divorced now, but still miss the man I thought he was.

Bless her heart..❤ I totally understand her, I was also abused but by my stepdad. Started when I was 6 yrs old and it went on into my early 20’s. At that point I blamed myself, but I was so traumatized, it was like when he saw me when older, my mind shut down I just blanked out so he did what he did. My mind protected me, thank goodness! I blocked out so much but I remember a lot too. My mom knew he was doing this because my best friend told her during a sleep over. She just blurted it out and said Jack was hurting Mary, she told her what he was doing..she refused to believe me and still to this day she refuses to believe it. I’m 60 now. The fear, the pain, the hurt and the trauma never really goes away. Jack passed years back, and the evening of his passing I told him I forgive him. I had to for myself.
I might add…I too have adhd, ocd, I will just say it’s been a lot! But today, I’m ok..but this is something you can never forget. I wish her the best, and her sister too. ❤

I’ve watched Mark’s channel for three years and can usually point out bull💩 when I see and hear it. There’s absolutely no doubt this beautiful, young woman is telling the truth. I believe every word and you can tell how difficult it was for her to get everything out. I’m sure there’s much more she’d love to tell. I noticed a lot of self soothing, rubbing the tops of her arms, grabbing and twisting her t-shirt sleeves, etc. Liars don’t do this. Body language speaks volumes and it’s obvious she’s telling the truth. I haven’t read all the comments, but I sure hope there’s no negative ones.
Angelina was so brave to come forward and expose her dad. She should be proud of herself and so should her family. I hope her father ends up where he belongs!!

Body language is at best a pseudo-science usually benefiting whatever prior bias was present. It’s not be any measure a science. It can be somewhat accurate under very specific circumstances but mostly it’s true crime nonsense made for middle aged women. This way they feel clever while they mindlessly consume nonsense. It’s very effective as you can see this dullard thinks she’s an expert.

She was right to hesitate about calling 911 since foster situations that kids are thrown into can also be abusive and tear up families. Sometimes there is no perfect solution to a dilemma but I'm glad she was able to give her a little sister the support that she couldn't have in the end. I'm also glad that her stepmom decided to side with her and be the adult that her biological parents weren't .

It is amazing how commonplace this sort of abuse is - and always has been. Right across the board - not just in the families of drug and alcohol abusers. The human race is still such a long way from being truly civilised.

It's crazy how your brain makes it's best to make your forget your traumatic memories, one day you wake up ready to go to college or work and you remember everything that happened word for word, scene by scene. I can't even imagine what went through your head when you were reassuring your little sister the night you saw her being assaulted. The abuse you suffered does not defines you as a person, we are all deserving of respect, compassion and dignity. We are all way more worthy than our minds make us believe. It's okay to cry, and I hope you will get the psychiatrist help you need to be able to live your life, it's not always gonna be easy, no matter how long and how hard the struggle is don't ever forget that it makes it makes each moment more liveable and enjoyable, one day at a time. Childhood survivor here. Don't be afraid to do the work, the hard part is finding the right therapist and group. But once you do that's when the magic happens. Be well and cry all you need to and one day all your questions will be answered.

She needs to be super cautious as to who she is attracted to and who is attracted to her. You pick ppl at the level of dysfunction you come from. Please Angelina get educated on ur family dynamic as to not repeat this cycle. Protect yourself you’re worth so much more.
I commented similar. I strongly would suggest (as a childhood trauma sufferer myself) that she get herself a great therapist.
Angelina thank you for sharing your story. You might have not have ADHD, I experienced trauma and since then I feel like you too: forgetful, worried, unable to focus, memory is gone, overwhelmed. That’s all ptsd and side effects from being traumatized.
I am so sorry you had to go through that. I hope your biological father gets what he deserves and you find healing and learn how to cope with this new you.

I can't believe her current boyfriend is campaigning for her to give her father a free pass on his abuse, claiming karma is all the justice needed. What a total grub. Abusers don't just stop all of a sudden. Also given that both the interviewee and her sister are victims/witnesses I fail to see how the police are unable to progress any sort of investigation.
He means well he just doesn’t want me to give myself more problems than what i’m already going through. Like I said in the video choosing to take the legal route has created some more mental health obstacles for me but I chose to do it. Also, they are unable to convict him because my little sister isn’t ready to speak about what she went through yet and without any other witnesses or another complaining witness sadly there is nothing they can do until she is ready to come forward. Childhood sexual abuse of any kind is abhorrent and any perpetrators should be prosecuted in the same way they go after murderers. They will always reoffend again. BUT there is a special place in hell for the parents that do this to their children. There is no greater violation of trust. Any survivor of this trauma that breaks the cycle is a goddamn rockstar. You are literally saving countless souls by not perpetuating the pain and unleashing it on those most vulnerable. Her dad is my second cousin and she’s a wonderful young lady who’s Bravery and Courage will help many along her healing and recovery process
I am an incest survivor, now in therapy and EMDR, however, at the age of 73 , I still battle anxiety and depression, nervousness and rambling, it’s part of our trauma in childhood. However, we are determined people, taking Chemistry to apply to Pasadena Chiropractic College. I will die trying to thrive. Surviving is awful , poverty , working poor, besides childhood trauma. I am running out of hope lots of the time.
I watched this video 2 times, normally for my education I only watch once. But I noticed that when Angelina was discussing normal things, of her confidence with good things she has determined in her life, if normal can be reached for her yet. At every point she speaks of her father her legs cross, sometimes tightly, She was so relaxed to talk to you at the beginning, then once she discussed very trying points of her memory, there went the leg crossing. As if she was protecting herself. If she speaks to you again, as you always do greatly, seek to bring up more about her hobbies, and how these things bring her soul back to the good in life. I think you're doing fantastically. It's great you appreciate your stepmom, and that she believes in you. It's s been awesome and brave for you to have protected your sister. This country doesn't do anywhere near enough for the life-giver...the girls and women! Not even close. And their system sucks..straight up! It's awesome that you've been doing all you can. Angelina- I just now got to the party where you speak about your step mother and how much of a gift she is to you. You're absolutely right. A good way to think of things to bring peace is that your dad HAD to leave your mom for you to be blessed with her. God luck on your journey

The best advice I can give her is…NONE of this is your fault, none of it! Repair yourself from the inside out, write your feelings down..all of them! Writing and telling your story is the beginning of your healing journey. Peace and love darlin’

Such a mature young women. She’s gone through so much but by her sharing this she helping others and gives her an awareness of her own situation and in time she will get more answers. Just remember one day at a time. Prayers help let go and let God.
When she said she just remembers bits here and there but some is blank, I can relate to that. I’m in my early 60’s and never got help for a molester my aunt was married to. At times I’ve tried to remember details, thinking I could put it behind me but the brain just won’t go there. Interesting to hear someone else say it. Ugh! These cowards are too damn comfortable preying on innocent children.🤬
Lisa I am so sorry that you can relate. look into EMDR therapy, it’s supposed to help bring repressed memories to the surface. I am looking into it as well hoping to be able to remember more. I try to tell my brain that we are safe to remember it all now, but for some reason it is still hard to go back to that place. I was a virgin until I was 18 and with my husband. All b/c of my fear of men due to similar circumstances with my uncle. We've been together 26yrs. We didn't even kiss until we'd been seeing each other for about 2mo. Took us a year to do the deed😢

Sweet girl, look into PTSD. I’ve been through very similar childhood experiences as you and have had many years of therapy. I found out I had cPTSD in my late 30s and finding the right trauma therapist can make a huge difference! Lots of love ❤️
