Been a fan of Miami Hurricanes' basketball team because in 8th grade (way back in 1995 for me), we chose our Boys & Girls team name "Hurricanes" because one teammate had a Starter jacket of the Hurricanes. So we were the "'Canes."
I wore number 1 because no one else wanted it. Lucky for me at that time Penny Hardaway was super popular.
