Every year if all those Montverde players went to college together they would be ranked top 25 in the country easily. Like this year Montverde had 5* SF Cooper Flagg , 5* SG Liam McNeely , 5* C Derrick Queen , 5* PF Asa Newell , 4* PG Rob Wright ,
The Brooklyn Nets have a thing for Former Montverde athletes. D.Lo (Former Net) Dayron Sharpe, Ben Simmons and Dariq Whitehead (Current Nets) hopefully they’ll be adding another next year (Cooper Flagg, Future Net 👀)
this is cool and all but in my opinion if you are that caliber of player being a mcdonalds all american and leading your hometown high school to state would be just as cool.
Being on a elite team like this helps with development, your practicing against other elite players who is d1 players, in a normal high school your practing against many players who will never even make it to d3.
i feel you 100% but i feel like it was the best situation for players like Simmons, RJ and Flagg who come from Australia, Canada and Maine and needed to play higher level comp. why not go and be the best player on the best team in the country?
@@chevonguthrie4098 if we’re talking high school careers that came before Cooper then it’s definitely Ben. At the time they literally called him the next LeBron. Obviously it didn’t pan out back then he was cooking every team he faced, threw dimes that defied physics which had the whole country fooled that he was the next face of the league. Cooper just took the crown because he was a complete player as a freshman. Ben was a man child with speed and athleticism but never developed into a 3 level scorer and never reached his potential as a defender. Coop proved himself by holding his own as a 17 year old playing against the US Olympic team. There are very few players in history that were capable of doing that at such a young age. Bobby Hurley and Christian laettner put a beating on the dream team but they had played multiple seasons of college basketball. Coop hasn’t played a single college game. That kid is amazing

@@zackyoung9608 i agree with that but dont understand why kids leave places like texas or California
Curious to see what kind of food they give the players
You should rate all the top 100 players and if they should be higher or lower rated

can this team beat the WBNA champion? i say for sure!! alot of ppl argue with me about it
I’m sorry the way u say Cade and em and is so cringe
would be cooler if the #1 team was a public school 🤭😉 MVA should play atleast D3
Yeah it's just impossible though nowadays. Most of these prep schools are in Florida because of lenient transfer rules and academic requirements
