The drummer in that time was The Rev, an amazing drummer, unfortunatelly he passed away in 2009 :'(. For that reason I recommend to you Critical Acclaim Live in the LBC, because we can see him playing the drums and singing at the same time. I hope you check it :3
Yes, it's a good song but it sings in a lot of others .. He died before the final completion of the fifth album Nightmare. The studio version was recorded according to its demo records.
"Who the fuck is the drummer?!" Should--should we tell her? Okay. You see, that wonderful man was Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan. He also did live backing vocals, and on some songs, lead vocals and piano arrangements. In 2009, he passed away from an overdose of prescription drugs and alcohol. He was taking painkillers for cardiomegaly (enlargement of the heart) and laser eye surgery and went home after a drinking party with the band and their close friends. He was gone the next morning. That was 3 days after Christmas Day 2009, when he recorded vocals and piano for one final song; Fiction. It would be a pleasure to hear you react to it.
@@Abireacts You're welcome! I hope it's a positive emotional experience. Jimmy was one of the founding members of the band in 1999 with M. Shadows and Zacky Vengeance, and their original bassist Matt Wendt. They went to high school together. He was in another band with Brian Haner called Pinkly Smooth before Brian joined Avenged Sevenfold after their first album and became Synyster Gates. The Rev and Syn knew each other since elementary school and were best friends.
Yes that was a key change :) great reaction! if you liked these songs I can gurantee you’ll like many many more songs from them. Incredibly talented musicians across the board.
You should react to Afterlife next and then do the Live in the LBC version for Bat Country, Beast and the Harlot, and Afterlife, easily their best live performance.
Bat Country and Beast And The Harlot are both from the same Album, “City of Evil” (it’s in the lyrics of Beast & Harlot) that’s why they sound similar. The album was made in 2004. :) Again, like everyone else, I’m gonna recommend watching their live show at the LBC It’s the fan’s staple show, everyone who truly love A7X, know the LBC setlist by heart lol.
If you ever do any live performances from Avenged Sevenfold, please do any song from rock am ring 2011, his voice then was in my opinion his ultimate prime, his singing was on point and his screaming gives you goosebumps, awesome reaction, loved that you said it makes musical sense! They layer so much and there's so much in the background you can't hear, like the last chorus has the lead singer singing in PROPER high pitch like someone put his balls in a vice and tightened it, awesome song though great reaction
@@Abireacts That highest harmony after the key change (at "fornicating with our kings/fallen now is babylon the great") that sounds like a guitar is M. Shadows singing in falsetto register.
First of all, you picked the perfect 2 songs to start your Avenged Sevenfold journey. I personally like almost every song they've ever put out(even the first album), but they have a ton of really good songs that you should check out. A lot of people tend to react to the "trilogy" about The Rev; So Far Away, Fiction, and Save Me all off the Nightmare album.
You weren’t hearing guitar effects; was just a harmony guitar part that makes it sound different when they’re both moving that fast. And yes, that was a key change :)
If you wanna hear double bass again you must hear anr react on first and second their album...sounding of seventh Trump and waking the fallen...I guarantee a lots of double bass and fast tempo from Jimmy
there are effect that simulate a typical and classic 2 guitars harmonized. i'm sure you can remember some maiden and their stye, when they play 2 guitars they most times do it by thirds for example
Combination of Metal and Pop-Punk 😂 It’s one of A7X’s styles, it’s called Punk-Rock :) Also, their guitar duo (they have a rhythm and a lead) is, what I consider the best duo in the world
I thought you did a reaction to the official video clip, because I think it will get better. Well, you are very good looking, and I love your smile. So, I still finished the video.😅 Turn it into Avenged Sevenfold - Unholy Confessions (Live LBC) for your next reaction video.👊🏼
Noooo you were suppose to listen to it live! Lol 🥺.. I get in a live version you won’t get all the intricacies of the song but live versions you got the raw emotion and the actual musical talent, no editing, no do-overs .. center stage, all eyes on you.. these guys really shine in a live setting .. love the reaction though! Keep them coming!
A little bit :) I started singing when I was 11, vocal lessons etc, went to a music college from 16-18, started playing guitar and writing songs, open mic nights etc and my whole life revolves around music - I love it :D
