When your looking through colonies and you scrape the comb off , you should stick it in your smoker will keep it going as after all its used for candles anyway
Just an idea 🤔 what about Led strip lights on Beam craine. Like the one's in Aldi supermarket that they sell. You can convert it to a 12 volt system. Which I have done myself. The Led strip lights that change colours. They do show the positive and earth negative side.
@@lbe6959 yeah I got lots of ideas For The Bush Bee Man. We won't have time to party. And could make it easier on The Bush bee man for his Almonds farm when moving them around. No longer have to lift bee hive boxes.
My dad and I started bee-keeping a few years ago and absolutely love it! Your videos are so informative and inspirational 😊 I'm wondering if you have any videos or tips about what to do when facing 'robber' bees? Recently lost our hive after it split/swarmed and then the remaining colony was immediately attacked by robbers :( Thank you!
@@magromarktube Very few bees are left, particularly in winter. Beekeepers will also block up the entrances if moving them at night and then thru the day to prevent the bees leaving the hive(s) while in transit between sites. Some even go to the effort of putting a shade cloth cover over the load to enclose the hives just in case. Also makes it safer for the general road users and community.

Could also lend itself to a bush disco party!

Very interesting to see you move the bees 👍🏻🇬🇧
Mark and John what was the distance that you travelled. Really hope you both got a few good hours sleep after this move.
With the time stamp on the video, you know that it is so you know how long this actually took to accomplish. Seemed like it was quite the day.

Love your work mate , you've been a big help with my venture into beekeeping . Keep up the good work
That's awesome! Glad we can help in some small way
man you need to get some LED mounted work lights all over the truck jesus christ haha
We're working up to it ;)
Why do you set the beehives in pairs and not side by side in full rows? Love your videos 😊
Mainly to allow the space to work them. That way we can kneel down next to them to check through the boxes
This video shoulda been called stuffing around the bloody dark!
Jesus christ man that thumbnail is OMINOUS!
When you move the bees how many are left behind the next morning at the old location
I had the same question in mind and…. Whats the minimum distance?
