I have never owned a Trek, but the Madone is, in my opinion, the most beautiful bike on the Market. Stunning looking bike.

Lucky enough to have bought it in February 20 just before the pandemic when there were no issuese in orders and deliveries. 4.6 k euro in Europe. I am really satisfied
I love watching each Trek SL and SLR advertisement and review. Right after seeing an actual model of this bike, I was mesmerized and feel in love with it. It was very beautiful and eye catching. I hope to get one someday...somedaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay even it is a second hand or a third or a forth haha. :)

Pricing of these bikes are crazy specially here in the Philippines. Yes, Madone is an excellent peice of machine but coming to think of it, I can already buy 2 2nd hand cars plus a brand new 155cc motorcycle for the price of a Madone worth around 631,000 PhP haha

Yeah let me order now for 2023 delivery. You guys smokin’ that rock. Call up Shimano and get some components like Specialized is able to do (albeit barely). Bike industry at this point has minimal excuses to not have product.

it pains my heart seeing a carbon frame that cost 300 dollars being sold for 3k and the pro level one costing a hooping 450 dollars in production being sold for 5k, and then coming here telling us the entrylevel bike is at a 5k starting point. The cycling industry might well be the greadiest and more overpriced market in the world
a fucking road motorbike cost a fraction of this bikes and double the price of manufacturing

Would be nice if the domane got bette regrade aluminum. Even in al5 it’s still the lowest tier aluminum even though it’s the same price as the checkpoint with better aluminum grade.

@@argentynski.baran.idol.polakow mam już jeden tower treka (co prawda mtb) i jest w porządku. Chyba generalizowanie co do marki nie bardzo ma sens. Bardziej zasadne jest ocenianie konkretnego modelu.

any update about Domane SL 5???
First I thought about buying a Madone. But the size 58 and 60 geometry stopped me from doing that. Size 60 far too little seat post angle and too much reach on the cockpit from the factory.
For size 58 I have to pull the seat post out almost to the maximum.
In addition, it is as heavy as a truck for this price range. In addition, the bikes all come from China. Only the Project One come straight from the US at Trek.
Why should I buy a bike from Asia with such a high price tag?
I can buy an Asian brand right away and get out "cheaper" with it.
Or you could ride behind another rider in a group or race …. For much better aerodynamics. That last sprint won’t make much of a difference over a 100 yard sprint
