    My local bike shop has this bike for sale at $4200. Regular price $4700.
    Did you upgrade something on the bike to bring the price higher that the regular price of a brand new bike with warranty?

      US pricing is different from Canadian pricing so that could be the disconnect in pricing.

      I’m done with racing and have a Focus Izalco that I built up as a light bike which will serve me well for the type of riding I plan to do now on.

      @@veloriderkm I ride a 56. Love the bike. Very interested. It's a little small. By the time I get done with this comment it'll be gone probably 😂

      @@universe-juice someone coming by to look at it tomorrow but still available. I should be on a 56 as well and Trek even suggested a 58 based on my height but the SLR I traded this for was a 54 as well and the 54 has a better balance between lateral stiffness and flex vs the bigger sizes.

    • @universe-juice
      @universe-juice Год назад +1

      Trek sizing is off a little. I can ride a 54. Well, honestly with a bike that nice, it won't last long. There was one just like this, same size, same everything at my lbs. It was on the internet for a day and gone like a fart in the wind

    • @MP-zf7kg
      @MP-zf7kg Год назад +1

      @@veloriderkm dumb question: seems like you'd size bikes based on inseam, not height. Any chart using height is just using averages, which isn't appropriate for high-end bikes.
