All of us sitting here sobbing tears of joy, not sadness. Em made it. He broke the generational curse. He made it out the other side and we got to see him live his REAL dream of being the dad he never had. Rap was a means to an end, an outlet. This was the goal, to create a life for his family where they would never have to worry, never have to wonder if they were loved. There are no doubts. Regardless of what someone might think of Em's raps, nobody can EVER knock his performance as a father.
When I learned the kids were here in my neck of the woods, I knew family was way more important than fame! He kept those kids out of the L.A./Hollyweird lifestyle! Best parent move he could've made! He gave them a chance to be normal humans!

He fought his demons so hard, he fought the expectations of touring and earning more money while being away from his family but he stood up, he won....❤ his little girl is a woman now. He is a great father and I do believe he is most proud of that title❤
Yeah I saw that and I remembered the mockingbird song. Em apologized to Hailey for everything bad but according to Hailey she didn't even notice how bad it was because he was so good at shielding her from everything while Eminem had to see his bad childhood because of his parents.

I didn't make it. I'm a 10 yr Marine Vet. Military Police. 3 deployments to Iraq, 4 firefights, 3 friends killed. My emotions rarely exist anymore. I have 3 kids. Two boys and my youngest, my little princess, Felicity. I didn't make it. I lost control of the tears. Why'd it have to be Eminem? How? The f' the system kid I grew up with. The f' everything kid I grew up with. Eminem and freaking Justin Beiber. The changes we watch as we grow. The men they grew and are growing into. Thank you, Em. You'll always be the instrument along with very few others that helped me through some of the hardest times in my life. And thank you Knox. I feel you bro. The father in us can't stay stoic 100% of the time. No matter how much has been taken from us. The fact that Eminem is very good at controlling his emotions-that’s why it’s very rare to see him genuinely laugh. But the moment he reads the note, he just burst out weeping. That shows how really special that occasion is to him and probably to all of us.

The way this album rolls reminds me of Em's decision to not have that biggest world tour at the height of his career, just because he want to raise his daughters right. Eminem always choose his family first.

Also *extremely well done* as a heartfelt letter from father to daughter! Can't think of a better one actually!
So happy for Em and Hailie. Everything that he sacrificed was for the reasons that we see today in this vid. His emotional reaction when seeing her in her wedding gown made me cry. Knox, 1 day this will be you with your daughters.
Not only is it beautiful and sweet in it's own right, but we have grown up with his music, and because he has always been so transparent, we have watched Haley grow up too. And bc Em has shared his father and mother's failings with us, and his fears of failing as a parent too, seeing him successfully get his daughter to marriage and motherhood just hits so good. He made it out that "trailer park", became a worldwide superstar, beat addiction, beat death, beat loss, and got his daughter, and his adopted daughters raised correctly. It's just really beautiful and I feel like many of us have rode the rollercoaster with him and a small way. Unlike we have with any other artist. Really cool stuff.

Weither it be a butterfly that won't stop flying around you , a bird on a wire that won't fly away for anything, a certain song that both of you loved more than any other gets played at a particular moment that made you think of him or that shit have involved you 2 like the father/daughter dance at the reception..... Anyway you get the idea.. my point is, just try to pay attention to your surroundings the day before and especially the whole day of your wedding. I promise you, he will let you know.... 14 years ago my mother passed away from breast cancer and a few other things... In the last 35 minutes of my life, she told me that once she was where she needed to be , that I would get visited by pairs of ( IN THIS EXACT ORDER BTW) cardinals, hawks and lastly crows because they were going to be leading her to her place in the afterlife... And sure enough , exactly 3 weeks to the day, a Wednesday morning, I was outside drinking a cup of coffee and smoking a cig before I leave for work,, 2 Cardinals fly into the hood of my work truck.... They sat there for about 5 minutes as I talked to them then at the same time they fly off the truck and pass my face so close I could feel the wind coming off their wings... Next visit was the following Friday.... I was about to get of the car to go home after work.. two hawks land on the hood and walk on the windshield then started flicking their wings, again the visit was no more than 5 minutes... The following Wednesday around 8pm I was putting my dogs in the yard... 2 crows were sitting on the gate door to my yard... One of them had a green string and the other had a little stone that was painted red andt was almost the same shape as the ruby in my moms "Mother ring" that all my siblings and I got her for one mother's day oh and green was her favorite color and the color of the clothing she was buried in.... They sat for almost 10 minutes as I talked to my mom, then they spread their wings, dropped the items squawked a few times and flew away.... I'll never be the same since that happened to me...

Now he's shared the next phase of his life......Congrats Grandpa Shady! ♥♥♥ He rose above all the bad things in his life to give his daughter the life he never had and then some. Amazing when you think about everything that he's been through to get where he's at today.
I'm deeply happy for Em and his daughter that he made it through his darkest hour. My dad battled with addiction & died Oct 17 2004 when I was 19. Em's album Recovery powerfully sparked my passion for screenwriting and I hope to collab with him one day. 💐🙏

I love that he has released this and Somebody Save Me because of how personal they are. I also wonder if he isn't helping Skylar Grey by releasing them as MV to help drive traffic to those songs since she had to sell her music catalog to pay for a major life change she was going through. I also love that at the end Hailie says whats your favorite part, it cuts to Em dancing and hugging with Hailie.

I always cried while listening to the audio. I started to get teary eyed as soon as the music video started, and I was sobbing when I saw the footage of Marshall walking Hailie down the aisle. I fully lost it when I saw the jersey and the announcement that she was pregnant. I cried so hard that my heart was hurting hours later. This is so beautiful. My Dad was in the army and he used to travel a lot. Through the years I noticed that he always took a pocket Bible. After he retired I was helping with some things and I found it and I opened it, I don’t know why I never did it before and he had some of our drawings and I noticed we scribbled the Bible. It made me feel warm and loved. Now I know why he always carried the same one, He has always been like this. Cherish your loved ones.
This song still pulls the heart strings. My mother hated that i listened to Em as a child xause of his lyrics and his hatred for his mother she actually broke all my cds once. But years later after not talking she heard this song and thats something we bonded over in my late 20s. Im glad you did this!

Two boys and my youngest, my little princess, Felicity. I didn't make it. I lost control of the tears. Why'd it have to be Eminem? How? The f' the system kid I grew up with. The f' everything kid I grew up with. Eminem and freaking Justin Beiber. The changes we watch as we grow. The men they grew and are growing into. Thank you, Em. You'll always be the instrument along with very few others that helped me through some of the hardest times in my life. And thank you Knox. I feel you bro. The father in us can't stay stoic 100% of the time. No matter how much has been taken from us. There will always be something, at sometime, that pulls it from the darkest depths of the hidden rooms in our minds. Peace.

Either way Em supplied past and present footage of his daughter, and created/approved the synchronizations of past with present in a skillful way, as a storyteller showing contrasts/parallels between past and present.
Also *extremely well done* as a heartfelt letter from father to daughter! Can't think of a better one actually!
So happy for Em and Hailie. Everything that he sacrificed was for the reasons that we see today in this vid. His emotional reaction when seeing her in her wedding gown made me cry. Knox, 1 day this will be you with your daughters.
Not only is it beautiful and sweet in it's own right, but we have grown up with his music, and because he has always been so transparent, we have watched Haley grow up too. And bc Em has shared his father and mother's failings with us, and his fears of failing as a parent too, seeing him successfully get his daughter to marriage and motherhood just hits so good. He made it out that "trailer park", became a worldwide superstar, beat addiction, beat death, beat loss, and got his daughter, and his adopted daughters raised correctly. It's just really beautiful and I feel like many of us have rode the rollercoaster with him and a small way. Unlike we have with any other artist. Really cool stuff.
I love how we hear little Hailie say, “it’s your favorite part Dad” and then it cuts to Hailie and Em dancing at her wedding. I can’t help but feel like that was intentional 🩷

14 years ago my mother passed away from breast cancer and a few other things... In the last 35 minutes of my life, she told me that once she was where she needed to be , that I would get visited by pairs of ( IN THIS EXACT ORDER BTW) cardinals, hawks and lastly crows because they were going to be leading her to her place in the afterlife... And sure enough , exactly 3 weeks to the day, a Wednesday morning, I was outside drinking a cup of coffee and smoking a cig before I leave for work,, 2 Cardinals fly into the hood of my work truck.... They sat there for about 5 minutes as I talked to them then at the same time they fly off the truck and pass my face so close I could feel the wind coming off their wings... Next visit was the following Friday.... I was about to get of the car to go home after work.. two hawks land on the hood and walk on the windshield then started flicking their wings, again the visit was no more than 5 minutes... The following Wednesday around 8pm I was putting my dogs in the yard... 2 crows were sitting on the gate door to my yard... One of them had a green string and the other had a little stone that was painted red andt was almost the same shape as the ruby in my moms "Mother ring" that all my siblings and I got her for one mother's day oh and green was her favorite color and the color of the clothing she was buried in.... They sat for almost 10 minutes as I talked to my mom, then they spread their wings, dropped the items squawked a few times and flew away.... I'll never be the same since that happened to me...

We have all been fortunate to have had Eminem in our lives for over 25 years now. Since the beginning he has shared parts of his life with all of us including his soft spot Hailie Jade. Now he's shared the next phase of his life......Congrats Grandpa Shady! ♥♥♥ He rose above all the bad things in his life to give his daughter the life he never had and then some. Amazing when you think about everything that he's been through to get where he's at today.
I'm deeply happy for Em and his daughter that he made it through his darkest hour. My dad battled with addiction & died Oct 17 2004 when I was 19. Em's album Recovery powerfully sparked my passion for screenwriting and I hope to collab with him one day. 💐🙏

I also wonder if he isn't helping Skylar Grey by releasing them as MV to help drive traffic to those songs since she had to sell her music catalog to pay for a major life change she was going through. I always cried while listening to the audio. I started to get teary eyed as soon as the music video started, and I was sobbing when I saw the footage of Marshall walking Hailie down the aisle. I fully lost it when I saw the jersey and the announcement that she was pregnant. I cried so hard that my heart was hurting hours later. This is so beautiful. Marshall and Hailie's relationship is genuinely incredible ❤

Coming up on one year without my dad and this made me bawl my eyes out. My dad had his battle with addiction as well, but always knew how much he loved me and he was always there for me. Hailie probably won't wanna hear this more then once (right now) because no one wants to think about losing their parents, but one day she will absolutely treasure it. So touching.

My Dad was in the army and he used to travel a lot. Through the years I noticed that he always took a pocket Bible. After he retired I was helping with some things and I found it and I opened it, I don’t know why I never did it before and he had some of our drawings and I noticed we scribbled the Bible. It made me feel warm and loved. Now I know why he always carried the same one, He has always been like this. Cherish your loved ones.
