- I took a very long time to decide which computer would be my next. I came from a MacBook Pro and I was afraid to let go of the power but I learned just because you go for the MacBook Air doesn't mean you lose power. In fact you might gain more benefits than you realize.
I agree with you, the MacBook Air is enough and Lighter weight .excellent battery is enough for a full day at University
Is it good for 20ish minutes 1080p video editing?

Good video, and I agree with your main points. For high-end video editing (20+ minute 4k videos), ML, or professional large organization programming the M chip MacBook Pro is the best choice. Otherwise, the M chip Air with 16GB or more is the best option.
I like having ports on my laptops, but dongles are cheap. For $20 you can get all the ports you need. Examples: HDMI 2.0, Type C, 2 Type A ports, a micro-SD card reader, and a full-SD card reader.
- 13.6-inch M3 Air with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of SSD storage costs roughly $1,300.
- Mokin dongle with all the ports on Amazon selling for roughly $20.
Total = $1,320

I am a youtuber who uses a macbook air 2015 for all my editing work. I don't know this old machine is handling all this😮
So many creatives I know use older machines because they just work. Now that apple silicon is standard I imagine people will hold onto their laptops even longer, just have to replace the battery every 3-4 years.

im 5 seconds into the vid and j just wanna say that if i dont hear anything about the 120hz that the pro has im done i really feel like thats a game changer or someone please tell me its not that important
if you don't use 120hz on a daily basis you won't notice it

@@RobertoArana-ep1he i have a 120hz phone and I switched to 60hz to save battery, and I didn't notice it was off until I checked my settings again
it's not a game changer, you can live without it, it is 100% noticeable but if you've never seen it before you won't be missing anything, it's not a big deal, just a bit more eyecomfort and shows premium quality and responsiveness not a must have, if you can justify the need for a macbook pro it's nice to have but depending on the work you need to do just grab the air
oh and i just got into mac books never owned one so everything i just said is pure information of the internet
