Pro ventilated! Check. Always want to let out steam. Will the ticks get in? Mmm G1000. Wasn’t that the bad robot in the second terminator film? A large map pocket! Lost on us. Pretty poor map readers. Oh yes Lace hooks. That will keep the scrubs out. Oh a knife pocket. This is a much younger demographic Phil. Oh an axe hook. I’m back. Love the stretchy crotch material. Happy it keeps the wind out. Will it let it out too? Sold ❤
Hello Phil, what a lovely view. Enjoyed the review of your trousers. Seem just what you need for your hiking days. Plenty of pockets and the knee protection looked too. Have a great weekend x Julie and Tony x
Hi Phil! Very nice and interesting, thank you very much 👍 Wonderful shot and review of FjallRaven Vida Pro ventilated pants. Nice scenery around. Great achievement my dear friend!!🔥
Hi Phil Oh Men's Ventilated trousers I have never thought of or purchased haha zipper on the thigh is very unique. I was amazed by ventilated zipper..I have never met hikers have ventilated zipper opened material race and hook on the bottom water resistance, unfortunately not water proof numbers and sizes of pockets..I have to remember which pockets my belongings belong to Does it come with reasonable price? How is washing instruction? washable at home or dry cleaning? well done. It seems last forever... Thank you Phil. Excellent review product. You are convincing so many potential buyers! I always thank YOU for supporting kayak7seas
I have a pair of Vida Pro (non ventilated version) - great for things like camping, walking the dog etc. I personally find them too restrictive for hiking, especially if there's any scrambling involved. I love the Keb trousers for hiking - all the great properties of the Vida Pro but with the added stretch panels adding much greater flexibility.
@@jimbo-1988 yea the Keb have that bit more stretch. I’ve found that unzipping does give you that bit more movement as well as ventilation. Both brilliant trousers 👍
I agree they are great trousers. Durable, quality construction and versatile. My only criticism is that the forward placement of the thigh pockets can restrict mobility if you place anything bulky in the pockets, like a thick map, thick gloves etc. For a winter trouser, I think the Vidda Pro original is far better.
They’re good points. I’ve not tried the non ventilated to compare. I know from previous walking trousers I really like having the option to vent in warmer weather. Being Fjallraven I’ve found that the majority of what they make is great 👍
Great review and I like that they are windproof and have plenty of pockets. I like a large pocket to slide my phone into where I know it won't slip out 👍
Hardest thing ever to find a good pair of outdoor kecks if you're old like me and got used to wearing army surplus as a kid. Of course living in Norway I could easily go for a wander with a knife AND an axe! My biggest complaint is that the newer fits are rubbish if you've got big thighs. For that reason i often go for hunting kecks instead, but I'll deffo give the Fjällräven a go if I find some in the sales. For me, the articulated knee is a massive bonus, as is the reinforced backside. I'm currently in a pair of Lundhags that have somehow survived all sorts of use and abuse.
@@kennethborland9541 I think the Keb are a bit harder wearing and possibly a bit more movement, but the Vida Pro were just what I wanted as mine are mainly fits trekking. I get warm when hiking and the ventilation is a big plus for me. To be honest the produce also has seat as I didn’t see such a great difference for the price. I guess it’s horses for courses 🤷🏻♂️ Thanks so much for watching 👍
That view looks unreal. You got a bargain @ £110. Where did you get them from? Looking to buy my first pair of FR but there’s so many to chose from, don’t know which one to buy. Just one an all round pair
@@anonymous4201 the view is great from there 👍 Trust me you won’t regret getting Fjallraven. I bought a few of their things now and I’m hooked. It’s true they’re a little expensive but they really are quality. I love the ventilation as you can wear them even in summer. I bought mine from www.trekkit.co.uk they are back at full price now but I’ve seen them on offer online. Hope you manage to get some 👍
You did a great review Phil and you did well to get those for £110 Phil, almost half price ! They're good, great that they're mosquito proof too. Love that beautiful location 👍~ Anna
@@PhilipOlsen11 Hey Phil I'm OK thank you, been so busy since Christmas but editing to hopefully upload this coming week( usually a Thursday as you know!) You're good at doing reviews, very believable and genuine 👍
Great review Phil. Mrs Millionaire and myself discovered vented trousers last year (cheap ones from Go Outdoors!) and have never looked back - we keep buying better and better ones and in general find it is worth paying more. Warm wishes from Millionaire Paul 👋 #moderndaybreakfastclub

What a great review with a great view. Thanks for sharing this great video. Really superb....have a great week
They look like sme great functional trousers, Phil. No axes or knives? Oh well. Still plenty of other uses. Nice review and stunning scenery!
Thank you Dave.
I did a video up there but decided to stop and do an impromptu review 😁
