    I bought this nail gun as we were planning to renew all the fencing in our back garden. As this involved 19 double slatted fence panels, 10 of which needed to be cut down in size, we knew there would be a need for a great ruclips.net/user/postUgkxHQsUrwNr5GQrnx9V4xDdUr56qxwuiBHt deal of re-stapling the wooden slats to the wooden framework. Each alteration required the re-stapling of 62 wooden slats with double staples. Prior to starting the work we ordered sufficient additional staples as per the instructions with the gun.The gun performed fantastically throughout the entire project with no jams of misfires. The adjustable power was excellent allowing the staples to be fired into the 8mm slats to the correct depth. For the price paid this was a bargain and it proved itself to be so reliable and versatile making an arduous task much quicker and professional. I cannot recommend this product highly enough and it will be used on many other projects in the future.

    Looks like a traditional hardwood floor installation at is professionally done.
    I just watched one bamboo floor guy gluing
    the tongues using no nails and butt jointing boards with glue and no nails 😵.
    Thank you for your video.

    I did 1,400 square of t/g bamboo on top of plywood with my finish nail gun and a chop saw, no need for glue, it's been 8 years, still looks great.....use felt paper in kitchen or bathrooms.

      I'm confused it says glue down or floating company spec but I keep seeing people nail it down if there is the need for 1/2 inch expansion how will it do so if nailed

    No, there is an art to nailing this down the installers you see are professional Installers they have their Guns set up just for Strand woven and the air pressure is just right you must use a 18 gauge Cleat nail. also I asked them when filming this if they would go through the set up of their tools and they said no because it could take a couple hours to get them back to the right settings. the best thing to do is practice on a board to get the correct settings. I hope this helps
    thanks

    Use blue tape to keep those last rows that are glued sucked up tight. Much like the wedges did.

    hi Where do you buy the felt paper? Is it a roofing material for water proof..?

    • @trickpc
      @trickpc  7 лет назад

      You can buy that at any flooring store or local hardware store

      Don’t use roofing felt or tar paper. It needs to be specifically for wood flooring. You get it where you buy the flooring.

    That looks really good. My installer did a horrible job around the hearth area. Could you take a look at this ibb.co/k4RsWR5 and advise me on what needs to be done? I'm at my wit's end. I've heard horror stories of contractors and never thought it would happen to me but...it's happening. I'm pulling my hair out...

    You should never nail down bamboo floors. They are glued down.

      Tammy Christiansen Yep...our Lumber Liquidators has the option to purchase nail down OR glue and click. Nail down is about 30 cents cheaper per sq ft and seems like the way to go.

      It depends on thickness and type of bamboo but most of them require glue, it depends on the warranty of the product
