Hi , my name is Kim I renovated your house and had install my floor with bamboo ,same material use in this video. It’s been 8 months and the floor still making a cracking sounds . I love bamboo floor ,don’t want to change. Can you help me fix this .what should I do. Thank you very much 🙏
Hi Kim - I don't think you purchased our bamboo flooring. Not all bamboo flooring is the same and it can perform differently, depending on how it was installed, the climate and environmental conditions etc. Also, if the subfloor is not level it can cause the bamboo flooring to move slightly when walked on - which can lead to creaking or squeaking. Often the creaking can settle over time. I'd suggest looking at applying some graphite powder in the joins to see if this will help. Do some searching on that. Hope that helps. Regards, Steve
@@plantationbamboo Thanks Steve for reply back early. I didn’t purchase the bamboo floor myself. The builder bought and installed for me , he did not level the floor perfectly. So if the subfloor not level ,do you think the creaking sound will settle overtime? Thanks Steve

@@HuyenLe-rq3cg - if the subfloor is not level, the movement of the flooring on top (and creaking) could continue...hence my suggestion above.
@@plantationbamboo Steve . I will take your advise .Thanks again for your help and times replying back. Regards Kim 🙏
