Coffee and Fab Rats. Good way to start my Sunday. Good morning y’all!
I agree with you 100 percent
Wish I drank coffee 😢 have to live vicariously through you guys. It was oatmeal and FabRats for me.
I agree
Fab Fats and MORR
That's where I'm at!
I sure like Ben in the shop giving Paul a hard time. Teasing back and forth between brothers is always needed.
Nice to see this truck remains a family build now that your brother has came on board. Landon will probably rebuild it again in 30 years.
I'm so glad to see Paul back to his normal goofy happy go lucky self... keep on keeping on fellas and fellet!
Paul has done a great job including everyone into his life as a big happy family.
Duluth Trading would be one hell of a good partner for the channel. Michelle wouldn't know what to do with all her free time from having to pixelate butt cracks! (Thank you, Michelle. Your valiant efforts have saved thousands worldwide!!) 😂😂 Much love, y'all! ❤️
Ben is quickly becoming a favorite addition to the crew
Paul your brother is a heck of a addition to the shop, great fabricator and wrench!
As much fun as it was watching you work on your own, Paul, you seem to be having more fun with Ben and Randle around - great video today - thanks all
Love the banter ! That’s really 3 generations working on that vehicle.
Your entire FabRats family, is sooooooo awesome!! All love and respect to ALL of you!! Even Randall's wife came through with the burgers!! "Teamwork makes the dream work"!!
"Ya know, maybe you come by it rightfully ."
Best compliment ever...thanks Randle!
Hey Paul.
If it’s in your budget, vintage air makes a nice A/C systems for these trucks.
It tucks the most the system up under the dash.
Would give you a lot more firewall / tire clearance.
It’s nice, but $1500 is a lot when you already have working a/c.
@@spaight711 very valid point.
It’s an ac cab so..
@@64BINDER
they make kit for either or..
Good idea.
I’ve really enjoy watching your family work together. My family moved to Colorado 4 years ago to start a church. My mom and brothers live 1200 miles away from us. I miss hunting with my little brother and I miss taking my 65 mustang (with I had to sell to move to Colorado) to car shows with my older brother (who has a 64 1/2 mustang). I miss mom’s Sunday lunches and just seeing them. Your channel reminds me of home- Don’t change!
Nice to see the improvements being done to grandpa Sherm's truck. Paul and Ben seem to work so well together,so nice to see that.
And the shop too! Now insulated and lit up
This episode reminded me of my Dad’s 82 Chevrolet Scottsdale K10 that he bought from the factory. I grow up with that truck. I remember having to swing in the truck to get my feet on the floorboard to get into the truck.
It's cool to see how much this channel HAS GROWN! I hope to one day soon meet all of you at Fab Rats. Have a great Memorial Day.
Fab Rats Coffee and Bacon grilled cheese balanced on my knees, Makes for the best Sunday morning, everyone is just great, the best part was when Michelle came in and said I'm doing quick books i need to know what you bought and you went uh oh and your brother said Randall it's time for a drink and then they stood in the back ground and laughed 😂 trucks looking great
Paul after adding half of a sheet of 1/4” plate and a spool of welding wire to the tow truck: “It just has to be … light.”
*thinks about what he’s done, realizes we’re gonna call him out on that one*
… “-ish.”
😂
It is amazing the trash one can take off a build to make it lighter. 🇨🇦
Every time I hear Randel speak, it reminds of Chester on the old western GUNSMOKE !!!
Trailmater has an interesting offroad suspension setup, redundant spring and air ride.
I don't think I've ever seen Randall without a smile. Great video!
Randall is a good guy great addition to the fabric crew
Fabrat got to love voice to text
Way to go Landon! You've done good Paul and Michelle.
those kids are having a hell of a childhood.
Still the BEST channel on “The Tube “Thank You Paul, family and friends 👍 Have a wonderful Memorial Weekend 🇺🇸
Thanks again for an awesome video. Soooo glad to see your success grow! Living vicariously through you buddy! Had a similar career working outside and traveling to find that $. Wears on man mentally AND physically. Glad you got out of that monotonous daily grind and can now enjoy being at home with your family so much more while doing what you enjoy and being able to provide. Live that dream to the fullest! 😊✌️
Watching tonight my wife says how cool it is to be watching the show so close by. On vacation from TN and camping just down the road. Looking forward to the final finished product.
It was funny to watch Paul having to show what he has bought 🤣. Michelle is awesome, funny and all business 🤣
I know your Dad is watching every second of this build. Everything he taught in action. Cool stuff.
They did a very good job lighting your shop that's not an easy job to do sometimes it does take a professional
With the addition of your brother to the show ratings went way up. Thanks
watching you work with your brother and Randle is really cool! You guts make an awesome team!
Dads and sons, eating stuff . As a teenager I came home late on night hungry, so I cooked and fixed a delicious hamburger. As it was cooling and I was washing the dishes my dad came in from work. Looks at my burger and stated “that is just what I wanted” and sat down and began eating. I had to cook another one for me. Life of a working man.
You all are AWESOME 👌 Your dad's tow truck is such a good memory I'm glad you're keeping quite a bit of it can hardly wait until it's all done to see it in its glory
Tell the young baseball man to be sure to have fun . Then you win no matter .
Paul , Michelle and the crew look great together . I'm not a Chevy guy but your doing good work.
Coming from a guy that owns a few Chevy blazers, I’m loving the square body content. Grandpa’s tow truck is going to be one bad unit
Michelle, Michelle, Michelle. After 4 kids and all of these years, you still trusted him. DOH! You two are so cute together. Part of what I love about your channel.
Favorite off road shock/suspension for me is Old Man Emu. I've been running the Nitro charger shocks on two different rigs for at least 12 years and way over 200,000 miles.
OME also do the best steering dampers too.
Ben has been a very good addition to the show, fun chemistry
Wow! Your shop is crazy bright now!
1984 GM Engineer's, " should be a box frame, it's a truck". The other Engineer, " there's only a handful of nut's that would put a truck through that kind of terror. Those nut's will have to work it out somehow". And here we are almost 40 years later! You Go Paul!
Hey Paul. You inspired me to buy my first welder. As I’m on a budget it’s the cheapest one Amazon sells, does mig tig and stick. My father has a mig and stick but neither of us have wanted to spend the money on a Miller tig, but I figured for a $200 welder, what have I got to lose? If I’m actually good at it by the time the thing breaks, I’ll buy a real one. Keep making the awesome projects
@landen I’m starting to notice a trend with you and things with motors
The look on Paul's face when he give Michelle a bite of that pepper was priceless.
So good to see you are doing good enough to invest in to your building and shop.
Good Morning Fab Rats my husband Alan and MJ (myself) really enjoy your all's videos. You 👉 👬 do some WONDERFUL WORK. WE PRAY YOU ALL DO WELL
have you thought of stiffening the frame using a tube frame design from existing chassis to rock sliders? by triangulating the dead space outside the rails you get strength but dont interfere with motor and gearbox space. it could also be a protective cage for air tanks or emergency fuel/ water.
🤣 “ I put arrows, because right and left mean nothin’”. Had me rollin’!
Michelle you’re awesome at editing all these videos, and taking one for the team to keep the comedy rolling, “it’s a carrot”….
I agree. She is a “crack” editor 🤣
@@mistertoad5286 OMG that was GOOD!
That adage, "You could bend a crowbar in a sandpile," made me laugh out loud. 🤣🤣🤣
Man I would give anything to come work with you for just even a day. Everything you do is what I have dreamed of doing as a mechanic for the past 20 year's. Just seems life always kicks me down an i've never gotten my garage just a stone driveway. Keep up the great work guys!!!!!!
I feel like the efficiency of the shop has drastically improved with the addition of Ben. Randall is pretty awesome as well. Maybe a live stream with a fabrats party to give away the car
I have a sneaky suspicion that Landon's engine/motor conundrum might just have a hereditary component to it.
Every great zen master with the metal persuader knows theres ''Ya'' and then theres ''Hi-Ya'' but the max torque at the rear elbow is the primal ''HOY-YAAAAA''. When the jobs needs gettin' done. Love the channel. Between you, Matt, Puddin's Fab and Robbie Layton l dont watch my Motortrend on demand anymore and wouldnt miss it if l cancelled it. Thank you and your awesome family. Ya'll rock.
Another great episode, with super editing. Nice job Ya'll!
Yep, great job on editing, he/she prevented us from getting our burned out from 'plumbers crack', or in this case 'mechanics crack'. 😵😵💫
The Paul and Ben antics just make this channel more fun to watch.
thanks so much for sharing this video with us!!.... Team Fab-Rats always pulls remarkably well together....even the younguns are well oriented in the shop....so cool !!.... editing remarkably constant !!
I use Bilstein shocks on my 98 XJ and 01 TJ Jeeps
Paul and crew great job love the videos you guys have helped me build a lot of things because of this channel I have built a flat bed for my truck and a brush guard can't wait to see more videos
I watch a lot on the tube, but this show I watch religiously.
Another great video Sir
More Michelle! I LOVE it when Paul messes with Michelle!
Love the way the channel is evolving! Keep up the great work Rats!
My same sentiment ..glad I'm here
Grandpa Sherman is looking down and very proud y’all. Y’all doing a great job.
I've seen some cantakerous comments on the old Robby Layton Golden Nuggie vids. Would love to see y'all review them.
Motors--Why drag FabRats into that mire?
It’s an age old problem. Fabrication experts always say the painter will fix it. Painters whine about the damage. Same with carpenters and painters. Painters will fix it. Just goes with job. It’s all good
OME shocks for me. Can not wait to see both tow trucks built. Then a tow off competition. :)
Michelle is looking mighty fit these days. Good on her...keep doing what you're both doing, great videos.
That 6 volt light was what my mom used all the time
My father and I rebuilt a ZZ4 for my 84 K10 when I was a teen. Needless to say, a 16yo with a roller cam small block and a 4-speed, I spun a rod bearing and had to rebuilt the engine again 6 months later. Don't do the rev limiter. Let Landon learn like I did. Life lesson I'll never forget.
I really like the upgrades on the tow truck that is going to be a strong, tough and bad ass. I always enjoy the story time segments with Ben and Paul I love the old stories in my opinion learning about history is a great thing.
When Michelle was doing QuickBooks Paul looked like a kid who was in trouble at school and was talking to the principal
Keep up the great work everyone
Cool to see Paul have help. Thanks Ben and Randall.
That Baby is All stripped down!! It’s slowly coming along. Great job, Paul, Ben and Landon 🤙😎
great tribute to dad's wrecker you guys do great work
Enjoying my lunch and Fab Rats here in Ireland
Carrot um Michelle thats not a .... the cheeky look on Paul's face you realise there is a certain trust that just went up in smoke or flames 🤣 truck is getting tougher by the minute love ya work 👍🇦🇺
Glad to see the Rat Rod Tow Truck back in the shop this is one vehicle I cannot wait to see back in action your Dad would love it. Ben is hilarious and Randal too. Michelle is HOT enough quit feeding her spicy foods. LOL. Your kids are growing so fast love watching them in the shop the family dynamics is my favorite part of the show. Keep up the great work cannot wait till the next video.
I worked many years in the ship yards as a ship fitter. Metal work. Term, Slam Tack: have someone ready with a hammer... put a big round tact (size of a nickle or quarter) Slam it ONCE with the hammer while still red. It will close up the gap. Slam repeat as needed.
I dig this channel so much. The ambition, the family and friends working together. With Ben, Paul can get away for the kids and the home. Randall is always in the mix. Michell is a happy wife, always smiling and in control. The kids get treated well for holding the flashlight. And, you know dad is floating around on the breeze so proud of his boys. Lastly, the world is anxiously awaiting for the golden Nugget to come back to the shop for kisses from the Fab Rats.
Boys are great ! Great at scattering your tools threwout the property .
You guys are cool !Having fun remembering good times.
Best line ever.(tear up a crowbar in a sand pile)
I have known people like that
Randall's wife is adorable. So glad to have met her today.
You guys are a real riot. I mean it never gets boring. lol. What you guys do, nothing is mediocre. it’s all done right and it’s heavy duty. We love this channel. 👍👍👍❤️
Not really an “off-road” show but Trucks Sunday morning in the 90’s with Stacey David was my shit
Nice video, thank you! Nice to see a young man with his father's smile and love of Life! Ron PTL USA
Ben is the first person I've seen clean dross like I do. Hit the metal at the cut and most of it falls right off.
Doesn’t everybody.. lol
The perfect example of CADboard layout and design. Great work on the tow truck.
When it comes to working on old trucks and cars, if you ain’t bleeding you ain’t working hard enough. It’s just worse now in my older days being on blood thinners. Thanks for another great video.
Old Chevy's never die they just get reconfigured!
Love all the camaraderie. It reminds me of my days in the military.
Light is not the word for this tow truck, one thing about it its going to be awesome truck when it gets done. Great video and great job from GA
I love all the movie references, always seem to be reminding of a classic that needs a re-watch! The build is coming along nice can’t wait to see it done
Grandpa told us we could tear up a Peter Wright anvil with a feather duster.
Keep it up and God Bless Utah.
20:45 had me lmao😁🤷♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣 I keep going back watching it look at Paul's face lmao when she screams ooouuucchhhh Paul jumps and turns around like he knows a slap his coming 🤷♂️🤣🤣🤣😁
LOL love to see the pictures you have at the end, where your dad's towing the logs, so funny, Stop, Go. Ha,ha. Love to see you all laughing.
Story Time is a great addition to the videos and always informative and funny.
I love how you kept Paul explaining purchases in frame while the work continued. I've been in that situation many times...... I'll bet he was glad to get back to work!
Ha! The look on pauls face. You could see he was so damn happy that Landon knew Crocodile Dundee. Paul hogan was awesome.
Lando, the star of “ Days of Thunder”
Great video today! Michelle eating that pepper was hilarious 😆
The Gold Nugget, really has been a great project, opening the door for so many other creators included in it! Nice work all around! 👍
Morning Fab Rats Family❣️❣️
Sunday coffee & Family time videos..
Gotta' love it❤️❤️
The old girl is on her way to making more recoveries!!!!
(I'm sure Sherm and David are right there watching you boys work your magic so the old gal can start making MORE memories to be shared down the road)❤️❤️❤️❤️
