you are absolutely right about the reticle placement, something I need to be more aware of, such a subtle thing but so huge in a fps game, love learning from content like this, keep em coming mang
Cheers Cole, I really learned allot by you breaking the play down. Great to see how the pro players approach the game. I will be foci g more on the left stick and see if that i.proves my game. Thx and please make more vids like this.
Be cool to see a reaction to Lethul gameplay. He’s one of the winningest halo players of all time across different teams but is never the star of the team. Be cool to see what he does that isn’t as flashy but so effective for his team’s creating space for teammates like Frosty
Really great breakdowns. I play at a competitive level, but only lower-tier champs in MM and the occasional low-tier FFA tournament. As someone who is decent at the game, but not good enough to be a pro, it is hard to explain to friends and fellow players what is going on in my head during gunfights. A lot of it is stuff you just build a muscle memory for and get used to analyzing on the fly. I think this video does a great job of explaining what I struggle to explain to those people. I also gotta agree with the guy who commented that you should react to Lethul next. TJ is an amazing player who does absolute WORK for any team he's with through map control, comms, and much more.
You mention so many smart plays such as paying attention to where each player is and positioning yourself in places to cut off certain angles.. I never think of any of that shit so there is a reason if have stayed a platinum player my whole time lmao
Here are the most important things with fps games on solo drops. 1 Awareness (Weapons, enemy count, enemy positions and movement, friendly of all, comms) 2 Positioning (Only being seen from where you see the opponent first) 3 Movement (Taking routes at paces to keep positioning rule in effect) 4 Efficiency (Target selection, weapon selection, picking your moment) 5 Steady aim (Hitting shots to keep efficiency high) 6 Reaction time (Hitting shots and making decisions quickly) Where I am, I would say I'm high average on all of those. I wouldn't say I'm a pro. But I definitely don't see many people playing on my level.
I was teamed up with a champ in 2v2 about a month ago at about 3am eastern time and we played against another champion with the “it’s so frosty” name. We won by 2 it was big sweaty. I was just the better side kick that night.
as a super casual player with an absolutely dog ass aim, I must say that I've never thought about the reticle movement points that you're talking about. The only reticle placement thing I ever thought about it just placing it where an enemy will be before you see them, but never thought about minimal movement and how important that is, especially on controller. Maybe my aim will suck less next time I play if I keep that in mind
Amazing playing. Great skill. Thank you for providing advice for us new to Halo. Placing the round target on players and micro movement and so on. You know that I feel like I am learning a new language just by playing this game. So, how about reviewing clips of players that need some improvement?
Personally I think shotzzy is the best H5 and would still be if he didn’t leave just imagine what he can do and is now the MVP in cod a totally different Game and Ogre2 is the Overall Best of all time. Not taking anything away From frosty he’s is flawless and on another level

Best halo player of all time? I’m not sure about that. Best new school player of halo 4-infinite for sure. I mean yea frosty played mlg halo 3 but vs other pros he did get dominated a lot. His skills have improved a lot with the newer style gameplay and sensitivity. That’s like saying Walshy would be the best at halo 5/infinite…. Yea he can hold his own but compared to these new guys and the crazy fast movement and play style he would get washed.
I'm not boasting cuz this guy is waaayy better than me cuz uk just he's been playing longer I've only been playing for five years but moving on, u see this people get absolutely shit on EVEN when they thrust or strafe or crouch strafe there terrible compared to us pro players and yesterday I was playing with the most toxic and sweaty players cuz I was grinding to sr 140-141-142-143 and so on and it was a trash lobby but the enemy was a clan trying to win but I couldn't do nothing but laugh I shatt onn theemmm???!!! 😂😂 and I ended up first 29 but one - cuz my teammate quite literally ran into my rockets while I was fighting and then we won 50 - 28 kills true pro game with a trash team and a sweaty enemy ??? !!!!!!!😂👍😅
