Wow thank you very much for a nice test and review of battery life in this car, I would like to ask if you can tell me what kind mode of driving you selected? It was in battery modem with eco mode active?
I have bought a month ago same car but at least I get 0nly 40 kms with a full battery charged on Chademo charger. Unfortunatelly the driver manual is in german and I don't speak the language.
Once again congrats for a nice review.

Hi Gustavo, thanks. I drove in EV-mode and Eco.

If you use Chademo you properly only charged it to 80% ?

Thanks for road test, quite impressive really considering it was far from ideal driving conditions. I wonder how far it would go on a smooth road at a constant 35 to 40 km/hr (the optimum for EV) with active use of regen to prevent going over that speed on the down-hill and easing up on the power going up-hill?

Braking on the downhill means that you need to use power afterwards (whereas in this case I use the momentum build up by gravity) and as you never get back regenerating what you had/have to invest it's always better NOT to brake (even if you regen).

if you eco drive it doesn't matter if the car is heavier and may even help you lower the consumption since there is zero engine brake so the car will go further without accelerating

    Hi Helmuth,
Thank you very much for the informative video. I’ve been driving an eclipse cross phev 2021 for couple of months now and would love to find out more about the ev power consumption and available power/charge as a percentage. The eclipse cross phev is sparse when it comes to showing usage stats. Do you have a tip for a car scanner, which I could use in combination with an obdii adapter compatible with iPhone (iOS)? A helpful tip would be much appreciated.

      Thank you and you're welcome.
For the scanner, sorry, absolutely no idea as I don't use any myself.
But maybe if you ask in some Eclipse-Forums or FB-Groups you'll probably find somebody who knows.

@@ecodriver1746 Thanks for the quick reply. These forums are probably the last resort at this point. I did a lot of googling without any luck.

Should I subtract 10km from it for winter driving?

I’m in Australia. It’s winter here. I get about 35-40 kms after a full charge at home. Why do they advertise 55 kms?

      Close the heater and A/C.

batteries retain less energy when its cold. The figures provided by the manufacturer only apply when its warm, you drive conservatively and you dont use the heating or A/C.

it's the regenerative braking, from B0 to B5 , control it with the paddles or shifter
