    All these cities are generally around Woodward avenue. You forgot to put St Clair shores Harrison township or grosse pointe where you have lake St. clair boating and fishing. Schools are also good.

    I'm sorry but you had Bloomfield Hills way off. That is some very expensive real estate.. I believe that you are using some crap info from Zillow or similar that lumps in Bloomfield Township(s) etc. I looked . You are wrong. Same with the average of Birmingham, West of Woodward/Adams is much more. I know this and live a thousand miles away. You are looking at gross averages which is not going to instill my confidence to look at a realtor.

    • @Livinginmetrodetroit313
      @Livinginmetrodetroit313  Год назад

      You’re absolutely correct, depending on the location in each suburb/city, the prices will vary. There is a range in all cities and these are two of the more expensive cities to live in as far as home prices are concerned. The numbers given in this video are the average of the entire suburb, not just a specific location within the city itself. This data is directly from our MLS data and analytics. Again, this is an average for the ENTIRE city/suburb, not a break down of each neighborhood

    Take a look at Troy. Parts belong to the Troy School District which is very good, and parts belong to the Birmingham
    School district. Troy is a clean, upcoming, multicultural city.

    This is a selling job period. Northville, if you move (love lived here 25 years)here be prepared to build, or you might find a place for under a million. Even the poor in this town drive Cadillacs. (Me) And Northville is off the beaten path so to speak. Hard to drive straight to here. Like I said this is a sell job that's all. As for employment in the area. It's tight.

    This is misleading on school districts. Both Beverly Hills and Franklin do not have their own district. They both are part of the Birmingham school district. In fact one of Birmingham's two high schools is located in Beverly Hills as well as one of the middle schools and several elementary schools.

      He's ignoring other places that are safe, and generally more affordable than most neighborhoods in the Oakland County cities listed here, but still close enough to Detroit that you can drive there for events without a problem. Canton, Livonia, most of Westland, most of Dearborn, and certain areas of Redford, Dearborn Heights, Garden City, etc. Plymouth and Northville are more expensive in Wayne County, but there are some more affordable pockets.

    • @WndD_74
      @WndD_74 10 месяцев назад +1

      Right, Livonia should have been right next to Plymouth. Being one of the larger suburbs, Livonia school district is up there with the other A’s mentioned along with more of a country atmosphere and wide ranging, affordable nice housing. Low crime rate.

    • @TakenTook
      @TakenTook 10 месяцев назад +2

      @@WndD_74 -- If what I read about this realtor online is correct, he grew up in West Bloomfield. And although I try not to make superficial assumptions, sometimes kids who grow up in wealthy neighborhoods get told that it's not acceptable to live anyplace but other wealthy neighborhoods. So perhaps that's why he didn't mention so many great places to live in Wayne County - ie perhaps many of his clientele are too classist to consider living there.
      Speaking of Livonia, not only do they have an excellent school system, there are pockets of Livonia with expensive mini mansions very similar to some areas of West Bloomfield, but priced a little bit lower per square foot. And there are areas of West Bloomfield with some really cheaply made houses that go for a high price but seem flimsy compared to some older solidly built homes in a place like Livonia.
