The First turquoise dodge was my paps old truck it was set up as a dump truck then it was white with a yellow Dumper about 23 years ago we installed a Jake brake on it when we overhauled the engine... I really miss that truck I remember riding in it when I was like 10 hauling gravel!
Awesome video !! Next year the ATHS National Truck Show comes to my neck of the woods here in Oregon :) I cannot wait, hope to have two trucks entered.......Looks like this years truck show had a good turnout !!
Trukluver You can bet that I'll be taking a lot of video next year, LOL.......It's a truck lovers paradise, LOL.........Also, I'll probably do another video of this years regional ATHS truck show which will be in August. We usually have a great turnout.
The Dodge around the 5:00 min mark had about 180 miles on it. Stored in barn since new, no mixer or dump body was ever attached. Talk about a barn find!
Nice show, especially the old Milk Trucks. I remember growing up in San Diego, Ca., and (I think) The Golden Jersey Dairy delivered milk via the alleys. If we "behaved" ourselves, the delivery man would let us ride on the back bumper to the end of the block. That's all it took for "thrills" during the late 50's and early 60's.
Thanks for posting an awesome video. We were inside in front of the milk trucks almost the whole show so we didn't get to see much. Did you see that the Buiter's Best truck at 10:20 was for sale?
