I wish they would stop putting those straight through exhausts on them as well as those horrid front bumpers, these trucks were super sexy from the factory - absolutely no need for tacky gimmicks
6:34 I don't think I have ever seen a Bison in action before. GMC Generals, Yes, but never a Bison. And the mid 80s Mack Superliners are cool too, I think partly since they resemble the Bison and General.
Yeah that was the first show where I’ve ever even seen a Bison. There was definitely some copying when it came to generals/bisons/superliners/ and probably 4300 transtars
AW MAN! I wish I could see!!!! The truck at the 2:00 minute mark sounded BEAST AND GOOD!!!!!! OOOOOLD school!!!!!! Thanks for this, man! I've always wated to drive the big rigs. :-D
It was a International Transtar 4070B with a Cummins in it I think a 350. Spectacular truck. Your welcome buddy I love putting these videos out for people. Hope someday I get to as well.
( retired otr driver) I know I'm old now, a lot of those were top of the line back when I started driving .... keeping between the lines and outta the ditches 👍
Man those B model tandem axle Mack dump trucks (and cement mixers) where everywhere when I was growing up in the 50’s. Lots and lots of new construction going on then. White Super Powers and old Autocars to
Great video. You sure got a good spot. Watching em wind em up through the gears hard is better than idling through a parking lot. Get to see em do what they were meant to do....drive. Finally someone that gets it lol
Yep you think the exact same way I do! Glad I was able to find a good spot unfortunately this was mostly the ones with trailers the bobtails went out the other exit
Absolutely fantastic show, I was there. Great video as well, it’s one thing to see these awesome machines in person, but super cool to see them in action.
It was a spectacular show. Thanks. Yeah, watching stuff leave has always been my favorite part of car/truck shows. You get to hear the trucks, smell the diesel, and just get eye candy all around. Lol. Thanks for watching
Where I live I see a decent amount of Peterbilt 359 because lots of the local drivers still run them and and this one dump truck driver still runs an old Autocar dump truck and I see other older trucks too like them old Ford Semi trucks
Why do all the people that make these videos, seem to never point the camera at the trucks on the trailers, the camera follows the truck with the trailer, but not what's on the trailer, we miss some really cool stuff on the trailers.
I took pictures of everything at the show before I took the videos. The reason people film the trucks pulling is because they are the only thing moving and making noise. The only time I’ll film a truck on a trailer is if it’s A- really cool, or B- being pulled by a new truck
Today truck they are good looking but the old trucks if they gotten a dent get a plunger and pop it back out plus they are more easier to work on no wonder most to all trucker called there trucks ol' reliable
Peterbilt an kw are better than those gmcs and well fords were ok Paccar built two of the best trucks I've rode in from peterbilt wad the 359 and from kenworth is the w900a model
The world was a much better place when Ford, GM & Dodge all made heavy duty trucks✌️
I agree. Wish I could go back to those days.
@@twincitiestruckspotting4863 And where emissions hadn’t ruined Diesel engines.
And to a lesser extent brockway
We as Americans then knew not to
Where they lay .. today.
Ask if it’s educated and perfected .
Now did what to a nation !? And it’s value.
Yes. I am stucking in the past. Especially in the 60`s and 70`s.
Just to see all that old iron in person is truly amazing
Yeah it was a blast. I got around 800 photos from there.
@@twincitiestruckspotting4863 Hey!
@@97go13PRO Hello
It's heartwarming to see what America had for real trucks back in the day
Oof, that LTL at 21:10. One of my absolute favorite trucks. Thanks for the great video.
Your welcome!
Its just my opinion but the older trucks are so much more exciting to look at and watch The newer custom builts ones are ok but the old ones rock
I gotta agree with you on that. Newer custom built ones almost always sound the same it’s nice to have a variety of engines and sounds
That's true
I wish they would stop putting those straight through exhausts on them as well as those horrid front bumpers, these trucks were super sexy from the factory - absolutely no need for tacky gimmicks
6:04 - The guy driving the Riss International Transtar II lives about 10 minutes from my house.

this video is so good. thanks a lot
Loved this, full of beautiful trucks.
A lot of these truck models are still working in Colombia, hauling loads up and down the Andes mountains. They love their big trucks down there.
That red GMC was a beauty
Well done! Thank you!
( retired otr driver) I know I'm old now, a lot of those were top of the line back when I started driving .... keeping between the lines and outta the ditches 👍
I could watch this all day long !!!!
Same! I’ve probably rewatched it 10 times already ! Lol!
I love all the old semi trucks and new semi truck
Love to see them cabin overs !
Same here! A true dying breed
You caught some great looking classics!
Thanks! I agree!
Beautiful Classic Rigs
Cabovers are a legend i Rember seeing them as fair trucks bringing the fair to town
Awesome footage!
Thanks!

Same, used to see them frequently since i live near a large quarry now it looks like they're all retired. Good looking trucks
I didn't see any FWD Trucks....
1:40 what whas that truck?
Beautiful beautiful video man! Thanks!
Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed!
These ole girls sound awesome, amazing shapes aswell, built like a Brick Sh*t House, Solid and sleek thanks for the video

3:09 I think you should double check your weight before leaving.
This was awesome! I wish I could have been there in real life!
Just simply Beautiful
I agree
That green and white R model was sharp!
Yep that thing was sweet

Damn! That screamin’ jimmy sound!
Love a Detroit.
I like the 2 case 930’s on the case colored international cabover.
Wow these are cooler than an actual car meet
so much rolling coal i hope i can find a truck show too! amazing video!!!!!
Depends on what area you are in but most all states have a local ATHS chapter
I go to a truck show every year in Waupun, Wisconsin. That event is called the Waupun Truck-N-Show.
@@rogerr.7228 I would go to Waupun but it’s a couple hours drive for me. Rather go to big iron classic
Absolutely fantastic show, I was there. Great video as well, it’s one thing to see these awesome machines in person, but super cool to see them in action.

that's paradise for me I love 💘 it when I see it I feel happy
This. This is far superior than train spotting 😆
and funny thing i would crawl through a barbed wire fence to see a truck show🤣🤣🤣
Quiero ir a un desfile de esos 😍😍😍😍 donde se hacen ?
Ellos estan por todas partes
I'm in heaven 😍
So was I
Is that rain 🌧 or flys n the picture lol the road on getting wet thanks BigAl California praise Jesus Christ grace Christ
It was raining for maybe 30 minutes to an hour but nothing very crazy. When it rains at a truck show, that don’t stop it!!!
Beautiful cabovers! Also at 6:04 Does the city bus count as a cabover as well?
Maybe... Lol
At minute 3:45: That red cabover with the number 101. Is this a Mack and what is that pipe in the middle of the back on the cab?
That’s an International 4070 and the pipe is the air intake
@@twincitiestruckspotting4863 Awesome. Love it. Thanks.

that rs5t is MINTY
That is a RS3K
nope it’s a fouled rs5t. The high bell is lower pitched on an rs3k. And also 4 bells are sounding in the video
12:27 took a page from the Europeans, eh?
Could be. There’s a good amount of those around
