Miss the rigs as part of hot august nights. Definitely a highlight of the week back then. I'll put this on my calendar for next year.. I attended Irwindale the past few years.

I go to NV to pick up a load of sand everyday, saw some of these nice rigs going to and from Reno.
mate if you come across a brown 3 tone kenworth should go and interview them, the Klos Brothers are a couple of Aussies and they build some of the best trucks in Australia

The trucks with the extended trailer on the back, like the one at 5:36 , how do they get those up there?
The crane or massive forklift that unloads the logs sets those trailers on top when they are unloaded. Logging roads that go deep into the woods are mainly one lane so the empty trucks have little pull off areas they dive into so the loaded log trucks can drive past.
@@7viewerlogic670 That makes sense. I was assuming they were crane loaded, but ya never know, maybe there was a crazy self loading system.
