I think it's great that folks who love old trucks and have the finances, go and rescue these old treasures. They are beautiful and deserve to be saved and preserved for future generations. The owners of these beauties should all be recognized as masters of the antique truck universe.
Here's what I like about these videos and how they are done. There are no people talking. There is no hokey, stupid music. And the best part is you can hear the engines, transmissions and normal noises the trucks make. Keep up the good work and don't change anything!
The rigs withstand the years a lot better in the dry climate than they do the north and eastern with all the ice, snow, salt and constant sand blasting of going down roads that have been salted, sanded and thrown in the air for drivers to drive through
Hay wagon 28:52, well known in So Cal and even better is the story behind it's last driver/owner and it's last run before impound. I ran with him once, one of a kind self-made man. Throw off a manger load (440 three tie) in 45 minutes. Ran on a shoe string budget, drank Beer, tough as nails! A REAL Legend. He's still around, ole Danny T.
Thanks for this great video, Chris. Great to get to meet and talk to you at the ATHS show. Keep up the flow of your excellent work. Watching this is like being back there again, and hearing the trucks makes my day!
I live in Switzerland. We don't have such a wonderful truck, I enjoyed this video! So many beautiful trucks and the sound of those engines. You made a great video of the show. I've had a subscription for a long time and enjoy this film. Thank you for your work. Thanks to you, I see trucks that I didn't even know existed. Greetings from Switzerland, George.
Right I've been waiting for this, as I am just getting into the industry but ive been running around doing my DOT physical and check ups with the carrier, and also moving. I'm bummed I missed it
I know the feeling, Shell Rotella show was last week, less than two hours from home! Only realized that around midnight on Friday, too late to reorganize my weekend.
I like the truck at timing 2:35. It's a beast. sits up high, gives you privacy for other drivers when passing. I think it's a Mac or Dodge. Call me mongoose out of Houston bye

So Chris, it appeared that alot of the rigs/trailers did not have a company or business name on them. So I assume that they are privately owned (not for commercial use/for hire). If that is the case, are they still required to stop at the scales?
Future electric trucks is the stupid things that human creat just think that people that are enthusiasm with old vintage truck that can't not drive no more in the street because the future things that the people gonna creat in the future.

Great to see some classics, especially old cab overs and bull noses. Thanks.
I feel like there’s more classic built trucks that go to the southwest and western truck shows than any other show in the country. And I love it.
The rigs withstand the years a lot better in the dry climate than they do the north and eastern with all the ice, snow, salt and constant sand blasting of going down roads that have been salted, sanded and thrown in the air for drivers to drive through
Gotta like the Freightliner at 11:15 that had the little Tonka truck chained behind the cab 😂
I sat in my buddys yard off highway 395 and got to see a bunch of nice trucks going home after this show
Wow Thatis So A Bueatufuly Truck's👍✌
All I can say is niceee would love to have any one of those trucks.

Bad ass video. I look forward to your videos .
19:38 that truck looked really new but sounded like a 2 stroke what’s everybody’s thoughts on that
I think it is
Pardon me "Daddy Steel", that's a 359 Pete, 1987 and older. Nothing new about that, buddy.
DETROIT
Not a truck unless i can see and smell smoke
I'm letting everyone know about this video. Outstanding.

At lease cops don't have to worry about stupid guys in Mustangs losing control and crashing into the crowd.
It looked like T A in sparks
I like train horns in trucks
The kenworth ironside needs definitely some maintenance.
I really miss the cabover trucks😥
Great video Chris. My only gripe is with the Maggini boys. Why oh why did they put stubby stacks on the 379 2 axle? My goodness, that poor truck.
Take the tips off so you can haul it on the lowbed
I remember seeing it when it had the tall pipes. He shouldn't have cut'em.
hello. that neddle nose exed exed hood is nice
Nice👌
Too boo coo Chris.
if not mistaken are most of the rigs in this video not done on cb interviews I recognizes a few from your rolling cb interviews
I always wonder how so many people can afford having such a rig...
NOTHING more American, nothing. Rolling thunder, Music to my ears! Lol.
Can you do another cb interview with tony juice

What’s the truck brand name of that orange keystone truck towards the end ?
So Chris, it appeared that alot of the rigs/trailers did not have a company or business name on them. So I assume that they are privately owned (not for commercial use/for hire). If that is the case, are they still required to stop at the scales?
All trucks dot ain't given show dogs no break. Some of them old old ones are questionable.
Scales are for axel and road safety compliance. They are owner ops that could be hauling as private contractors, and others might just be for show
Can't watch anymore

10:30 wtf is that 😲💥💥💥
Can anyone tell me what motor is in that log truck at 15 min? He's chugging it so low I wonder if thats him or just the motor...
