Been saying the same thing about Bryce. He is the most underrated qb in the NFL. He's going to shock some people with His arm and his accuracy. They will think they are watching a different Bryce Young, but what they are seeing is and improved Bryce Young, but also and improved roster with an excellent coach who will utilize an offensive scheme which can best use the strengths of this offense which will naturally help the defense.

@@YaBoyKels1 I agree, he has burned through two Head Coaches, and Dave Canales could be a Joe Brady Experiment for all we truly know. They have only won two games and now the rebuild has struck again like thunderbolts from Zeus' armpits! It is beyond crazy, we just need to ride out another big wave of changes to see how it shakes out at the end. If we keep Canales and Morgan, so be it, but I'm not jumping on the hype train quite yet. Get 2 to 6 wins and I am still interested. Get seven to 10, and I see a possible snap in the playoff drought. Keep Pounding.

NFL has the quickest turn around in sports. The texans went from number 1 overall pick to nearly beating the super bowl champs. Anyone saying Bryce is a bust after 1 year or the panthers set themselves back 5 years doesnt know the NFL. Bryce had a better rookie season than trevor lawrence but nobody called him a bust after year 1.
You're wrong that the Texans rebuilt in one year. Be honest. Last year was the 4th year of the Texans rebuild, and they did not have as much lost value in team management (see: CMC, QB Disasters, Bryce trade up package, Burns exit, etc.)
With the added set backs the Panthers can expect around 5 year total rebuild under good management, and longer if we keep hitting the restart butting by hiring new staff after 1 year of coaching. The good news is one year of that is already behind us, the front office will be in control of whether they will shave off or add on time to that timeline
Every Jags fan was saying Lawrence was a bust, after the first half of the season, but he had Urban Meyer as a coach and that's just as bad as Rhule and Reich.

Panthers are always disrespected in sports media and by casuals lol. Last year was obviously warranted but people forget the team isnt even 30 years old and have been to 2 superbowls. I am cautiously optimistic this year but I think Dan morgan has made all the right moves. Plus we replaced burns with Clowney for less money who had a better season last year than Burns did. This team will be vastly improved compared to last year, just hope Tepper takes a step back and Canales works out. Coaching carousel hasnt been fun. I appreciate the video!

My prediction is that the Panthers will win games that people think they shouldn't win in 2024. if the Panthers can string two to three winning streak then I know that the team is heading in the right direction. The expectation is so low that there is only going up from here on out.
Bryce isn't the reason Thielen had a thousand yard season. It was the 11 catches for 145 yards that he had in the only game Bryce didn't play that got him over a thousand yards. Thielen only had 869 yards in 16 games with Bryce at QB.

Almost every year there's at least one team thst goes from awful to good, and the Panthers will be that team this year. Dave Canales has "it" and that offense has been completely revamped. I'm not saying the Panthers are gonna win the superbowl or make a deep playoff run but i absolutely see them competing for the division and i DO think they'll be true contenders within 2-3 years.

The cap he put on thielens name is preposterous u wanna know why he was throwing the ball to him cause he was the only one getting consistently open and the only one consistently catching the ball Bryce had no option but to throw him the ball the “old almost out of the league guy” was the best receiver on the team by far and Bryce realized that early thielen the only reason Bryce young didn’t look worse then he did 💀
That's also because Thielen wasn't running many routes past 10 yards. It wasn't because he got separated or anything, but because he is the next Mr Reliable (Olsen). He just plays the game stupidly well. Anything past 10 yards and BY would screw most of it up or Mingo would just suck in general.

Canales isn't the OC or QB coach anymore. He has to pass those responsibilities onto the ones that hold those positions now. But BY is a total bust. He's too short, can't run, has a weak arm, too small, acts scared, and isn't a true leader. Even with both the guards we got he still has to deal with the trash we have with Ikem, Corbett, Zavala, Mays, and Lewis. Honestly, Moton is the only other one that we have that we know can produce. He only has Thielen, ISM, Chubba, Ja'Tavion, Brooks, and Blackshear as true weapons. Everyone else is dog shit. What should've happened was we draft a better oline with the first pick instead of an overrated WR that was only a WR1 for his 5th year because he couldn't become a WR3 the first 4 years, and they felt they needed to give him that spot so he can have tape for the draft.
BY will still act scared with 3 good players in front of him, but will still suck.

Adam helped Bryce more than the reverse last year, the catches Thielen was making were in traffic, off-throws, throws into double or triple coverage and often on 3rd or 4th down. It's true that Canales has a record of making middling quarterbacks look borderline startable, but he has only done that with players who have already had prove-it moments in the league. He was on the assistant staff for the Seahawks when they made Russ work but Russ had already won a superbowl when he got into a position of power there. He gets a lot of credit for making Geno Smith allegedly a superstar but looking at the numbers really doesn't support that, although he did have a decent year with him. Same for Baker, it was a nice performance but Baker's already proved it he can play well in Cleveland.
I don't see the "QB Guru" everyone else sees yet but am willing to be convinced otherwise. I like his energy and optimism but it will take a lot of work creating a stud out of Bryce, something his track record doesn't have great evidence of. Developing a short-statured quarterback is different from typical pocket passers with big frames, and while being around Russ was probably a positive, I don't think any of that success was grown as a direct result of Canales.
The good news is to be "WAY BETTER" all we need is realistically 3 wins - that would already be a 50% year over year increase for us

Great job Bengals guy, until you says Horn is one of the better defensive players. When he's healthy he's probably the best corner in the league. His play recognition and ability to almost always be in position to break up passes or possibly intercept them is incredible given he's not a speedster at the position...
Horn isn't even that good. He looked good in college because Carolina didn't play many teams with great WRs. He has blown coverage quite a bit when he's been on the field, but we should've cut him after last year. 3 years and he's played less than half the games.

Man, I was so encouraged with the greatness of players like Robbie Anderson and CMC but they are gone! DJ Moore wasn't much of a true vocal leader but he got it done and was clutch city in so many moments, and he is now gone! Competition brings comparisons and greatness follows, regardless of all this drama and egos of haters all over Mint Street and beyond. Let's face it, most Panther fans are jaded, cynical, and even borderline psychotic! Talk as you like, at this point, be honest and maybe remember that Canales is no young Rivera, but that's food for thought as the comparisons between Rivera and Canales matter.

I'd be happy with a four game win improvement (6 for the season) showing progress. But I think with the very weak schedule they have winning 7 is probable and possibly 9-10. They've only got like 3 really good teams to play that are locks on paper to beat them. The rest are a toss up.
