  • Update: I have improved this run to 3:51:28 - new video at • Lufia II Speedrun (No ...
Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals SNES version, played on North American SNES console (modded for component video output) with OEM controller (no turbo). Timing is from naming Maxim to breaking the final Doom Island Mystic Stone.
'No Major Glitches' means no use of the 'Level 0 Glitch' or 'Gratze Hammer Glitch', which can be used to skip major portions of the game. 'No Manipulation' means no scripting of battle outcomes, and boss drops (such as the Catfish Jewel) cannot be used or sold.
A solid improvement thanks to cutting out a lot of safety saves + a very nice Doom Island, but a terrible Ghost Ship + some big mistakes on Lions & Strahda Tower cost the sub-4.

hello puwexil, how many times have you played through each of your games to know all the paths by heart? do you complete a game every day? and how did you prepare for it. I would like to buy super famicom games like e.g. chrono trigger, final fantasy IV and V. The only problem is that I have problems with the Japanese.
