  • Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals SNES version, played on North American SNES console (modded for component video output) with OEM controller (no turbo). Timing is from naming Maxim to breaking the final Doom Island Mystic Stone.
'No Major Glitches' means no use of the 'Level 0 Glitch' or 'Gratze Hammer Glitch', which can be used to skip major portions of the game. 'No Manipulation' means no scripting of battle outcomes, and boss drops (such as the Catfish Jewel) cannot be used or sold.
Overall solid early game (my 1st ever sub-hour Clowns and sub-1:30 Gades 2), some rough spots in the mid & late game (Lions & most of the Sinistrals especially), and a very silly endgame (got BOTH rare drops in the final towers, but luck on final bosses was pretty bad aside from that). May call it good here and move on, but making 1 last push to go for record (which currently stands at 3:51:15) is so tempting...

I always look forward to your uploads. I replay the classic FFVI from GDQ every so often. Any chance you’ll ever do another FFVI or VII run?

Sad that Lufia 2 isn't more popular. It is my second favorite snes game. Only losing to Final Fantasy 3 (VI).
