Final Fantasy Mystic Quest Speedrun (Any% No Shop Glitch) -

- Опубликовано: 2 окт 2024
- Final Fantasy Mystic Quest SNES version, played on North American SNES console (modded for component video output) with OEM controller (no turbo). Timing is from naming Benjamin to the start of Dark King's death animation.
The 'Shop Glitch' (which is not used in this category) allows for Key Items and Seeds to be glitched into the inventory, ultimately enabling multiple dungeons & bosses to be skipped.
Decent start (1st sub-40 Ice Golem) and endgame (no deaths on Zuh's floor), average midgame with a silly Focus Tower movement mistake that cost almost a full minute.

Two thumbs up, to think you can beat this game in 2 hours! I would immediately invalidate my no major glitch run, becuase my cart froze on the music loop in the ice temple! Thank God for save anywhere! Anyways it's always wonderful watching your runs!
people trash this game but honestly for what it was, it was a good time as a young child. And it still has one of the best soundtracks of any snes game
From what I've seen most of the people who trash talk FF:MQ are people who came into the FF franchise much later, around 7+ and expect every game to be the most complex and convoluted story imaginable.
i trashed this game back in 1993 because in an era before the internet, i absolutely could not figure out how to solve some of the puzzles. how times have changed..
Agreed..... at the time, this game was still an absolute joy for an rpg that we had available to us. Kudos!

Thanks for playing this! It's a fav of mine
Love to see you back to Mystic Quest runs, thanks for sharing! Fantastic game and the superb soundtrack makes it always fun to watch.
A 2 headed trex controls a volcano?
I'm beginning to think there's some plot holes in this game..
Nice run man! Good stuff to chill and watch
best long play guy ever
I feel what you mean Puxexil by simply wanting to play a good remake of the ps1 era. Sadly Star Ocean 2 R did not hit the nail for me. I hope Suikoden 1 and 2 remake will do it. x,.x
Edit: Have you ever played Crystal Project? It's a highly underrated RPG that focus on exploration and it's really done well on every aspect. If you ever get bored give it a shot. ^-^
Shave your head, totally... go Steve Austin and enjoy life... stop pretending
