- After looking at pc tutorials for the 999 soul glitch, all of the videos I watched required a controller which wasn’t available for me. Fortunately there’s a way to do it with just your mouse and keyboard. If you have any questions please leave a comment.
Sorry that my audio gets a bit drowned out by the game, didn’t realize the game was being recorded that loud.
I tried this many times but it's not working at all until I moved my mouse to the left of the screen to avoid messing the selection by the mouse cursor just as you did. Thank you truly

I have been trying this for AGES with some big souls and every time I did it, it would say "use 999 times" while on Quit Game but then it would just exit and drop my soul forever. Your tip to keep the mouse on the left side of the screen was an INSTANT fix for that. Thank you so much! As soon as it worked I raced back here to give you a like and subscribe. You are a hero

I just finished the game a few days ago and i wanted to mess around in a new save (since my normal one is on NG+ now), and i have being looking for this glitch without controllers for a long time, and it worked :∆

If you make sure you follow the steps exactly as in this video. It will work. Keyboard + Mouse only, no controller needed. Did this with Dark Souls 1 on Steam (while online, but probably smarter to do it offline).
Still works as of july 14 24 ive been stuck trying to do this for 2 days now. Bro really came in clutch for us mouse and keyboard users

why when i press ok to use 999 items, it didn't work and the game went back to the title menu, but my soul item was gone,

Everything works but at the end he ask me to drop items instead of use. When I press OK I quit the game and my souls are lost.
I can't understand which key you are telling to press with 'E' in brightness section
I believe escape should work just fine if I'm not mistaken. But what he said was "the end key"

I can't get it to work the glitch overlay isn't working
ok . remastered version in june 2024 . took me 30 min BUT after i memorized END-END-END-END- DOWN - (What actually glitches the game ) E + END ( what he refers to DELAY is literally a matter of miliseconds) i managed to make it work . thank you kindly for the wisdom shared TK
Can you tell me what button is end? Im playing on a laptop and I cant find any end button, I tried esc and del but both dont do anything other than close

@@lan.w (dont know if u configured something to your right click ) with the mouse i place it on the left side of the screen from the start . I do everything with the keyboard untill the glitch happens .
If it doesnt happen after 5-6 attempts i just redo the drop arrow thing just to "refresh" it

@@TK-Remix @TK-Remix Hey thanks for the quick answer, but unfortunately i tried. it doesn't work, for some reason after i press "OK" In the brightness part (i didd everything right beforehand, like putting thr soul i wanna dupe second ans having 999 arrows) it doesnt take me back to settings menu+inventory, it straight up opens the "use item" on the soul i wanna dupe. i may be stupid and is doing something wrong unintentionally, if u could help me out we can exchange discords and talk about it

Keep your mouse on the left side of the screen until you’re ready to move it over “quit game”, do not move over any other parts of the menu while you love the mouse
