I’ve never seen that cut scene before I guess I’ve never done the bosses in that order I didn’t even know that Sif would jump down and sniff you how awesome
That's why finishing the game at level one isn't that hard if you're willing to grind ascended pyro flame/maxed equipment and have master key to sequence break for better early gear and pyromancy.
@@kimbrolyy You'd be surprised how tanky a level one is with minmaxed gear and enough spare humanity. It's just grindy as hell maxing your character under those restrictions unless you use the duplication glitch with boss and firekeeper souls
I used the bug of getting millions of souls in the Remastered for my videos and I actually got surprised that the weapons didn't actually did that much damage untill I upgraded them
For me the bug didn’t work that well, maybe it was cuz I was playing on the switch but the bug only permitted me to duplicate the souls 99 times instead of 999 times
I passed the game years ago and tried this for a second playthrough. I quickly found out that levels dont help much. They increase your defensive stats more than anything so boss fights are more forgiving and you get a little bit extra damage but thats all. The game is still quite a challenge.
God damn. Elden Ring was great... but watching this quick overview of the whole game makes me remember how ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE IT WAS. That fucking firelink music... the most lonely and forlorn ive ever heard. The feeling watching the cutscene as the bells are rung. The first view of anor londo... (and then when you finally start understanding the lore and the connected world as a whole... your first re-view of the iron gollum arena and the caved in path to anor londo and dying to know what that passage is like.
How many flask does it take to refill your health? This also goes to show that stats alone don't do THAT much you need stats AND weapon upgrades LOL. Nice to know how challenging this masterpiece still is. I just finished 200 hrs of ER, put in DS1 and couldn't stop smiling for 2 hours.
I think Estus +0 it would take at least 6 to 8. I went back over my fight with Gwyn. I was at estus +2. and I used two to fill up about 7 canisters of my health bar.
This is why I love this series soo much because even if you max out your stats and exploit the game you will allways have atleest som lvl of chaleng still
I've done this before, it's still challenging but more fun, if you killed the Asylum Demon first encounter, you'd have gotten the Demon's Great Hammer which is actually perfect for this
I think that a use what you get randomizer run with max stats would be so much fun and add a huge challenge to the game, you should do a playthrough of that!
There was many things that could make this run way easier. Like some shortcuts and strategies. But overall great video! You should try this with the black alberd and the other ultra great black sword in the game. It's even easier
A full knight run through would be awesome to watch. Begin the game with a sword and shield and then enhance to Greatswords and battle axes as you progress through the game. A full walkthrough with no commentary as a nameless knight or a knight of Astora would be awesome.

Just realized one of the reasons I like these videos is because I can take in how gorgeous some of these bosses are, when I'm not concentrating on fighting them. In particular, Gravelord Nito and the Four Kings have an eerie beauty. And then there's straight up good looking, like Sif and Artorias.

The first time i played dark souls, back in 2011, the game was so hard for me (I was 11 at the time), that i used the Dragon Head bug to get unlimited Souls, and the game was still hard, because i didn't know how the weapon system properly worked and all. So this video, gave me a lot of nostalgia about that time, me as a Kid trying to beat this "impossible" game, not knowing where to go, and still dying even with a very high level.
I facerolled most bosses after I got a 40/40 quality build the first time I beat DS1. I was expecting maxed out stats to be a lot more powerful. Guess those diminishing returns really kick in.
It's common thing i've done recently, i've done it in a couple videos. Everytime I do something that's really obnoxious and unessessarily assholish, i will chuck the snip in from ADTR.
i honestly thought you would one shot basically everyone while not taking any damage but even with maxed stats, you still need skill. this is a good game
@@Alfazri57 from my understanding they got rid of it before the update and dlc on the 360. But you can check the remastered version. It was pretty sick, grass shield, dragon head and any soul expect boss souls if memory serves some button tricks and just rack up souls. calisavages22 has the video I used to do it.
Using some tactics you can (literally) make a character approximately max level (or max depending on your patience) by Glitching and Skipping. I did that but killed Sit to get a high value soul if I use it on the Estus glitch. Also I upgraded Zweihander to +15. I also spent my time buying resources (with the soul glitch) to level up the Elite Knight Armor to the maximum level. Count on me... The feeling is that you are literally a god. It's nice to see enemies who (possibly) have already mopped the floor with you like little Undead trying to kill Havel. I personally dislike Boss Capra Demon and... Using the maximum Zweihander's running attack and making him kiss the ground with a single blow was an unforgettable feeling.

Most RPGs: LVL 1. Hits starting enemy with sword, 20% damage. LVL MAX: with punch... 1000% damage Dark Souls not so. I reached a point where I wondered if it payed out too much to level up. There were more vast differences if you upgraded your weapons too much or have skills. LVL1 game doesn't feel so much different except that 1 good hit could instakill you instead of 3 at LVL MAX.

I sort of broke most things in this game. 🤣 My usual farm is Ancient Forest, when you chuck in the Crest of Artorias, Dealing with the guardians.
While you can make yourself OP in all of these games. I'd argue all of them did amazingly with balance (outside of Elden Ring) most players have a similar experience with challenge and overcoming, so the lvls/gear are placed super well imo
I like that you are not invincible even at the highest level, its just about skill
I know I had difficulty fighting a few on the bosses and sometimes the regular mobs.
The true final boss of dark souls is a 2 phaser:
Skill issue and gravity

I had max health and it took 8 with a maxed estus
@@matmeg-0847 This is untrue. Max Estis Flask (+7) with Max Health (1900) heals fully with 2 flasks.

During my first play through I got the BKS from the first BK I fought. It carried me through the game.

The four kings gave me a lot of trouble because I have difficulty perceiving depth so I couldn't tell how far away it was from me
The most fun part of Dark Souls I (or Remastered) is that you can beat the game at soul level 1.
