That was my first thought. BUT, at the same time, that would require him to admit his own guilt. I don’t know if his narcissism will allow for it.
The only thing I think would stop him is his seemingly close relationship with the two boys, otherwise Wendi would be toast
He won’t do it directly. But he’s hinting out loud, hoping someone else does. The family uses pawns or people to do the dirty work. Then Charlie can tell Wendi “it wasn’t him” that told on her. Jmo
